digs
About to cut and extend my o2 wire due to where it changed to the wire was never long enough really, was just going to use the usual wire, before so, nothing special about the wire is there ?? Not sure why I think there might be but worth a 2 second question
Ownleemee
As the sensor is a "reactive" device in it's own right I wouldn't think the cable will be resistive, just make sure your joints are 100%.
threepot
Yep, good soldered joints as the signal created is between 0 and 1 volt. Boring old normal wire of the same gauge. Clip it back nice so it doesn't melt on the exhaust.
digs
cheers guys Yep, good soldered joints as the signal created is between 0 and 1 volt. Boring old normal wire of the same gauge. Clip it back nice so it doesn't melt on the exhaust. yeah, that's the issue at the moment, as downpipe is now on the drivers side after turbo conversion, sensor wire comes from passenger so stretching dangerously close! Cool, will sort that out in the dark this week can't wait for it to be light after work!
