Old Red Celica
That tidies up the front end. It should pass the MOT, but they might claim it's not vertical enough.
dublet
Sticky plates are not road legal.
myimportedbeast
Huh what no way well in that case when I comes to mot I shall screw the original where it used to be.
Old Red Celica
As long as the plate is of LEGAL type and reflective Stick on plates are allowed, but they must be vertical. I think you'll find that if a ANPR can read them you'll get no problem
myimportedbeast
I passed an anpr dude in a Beemer plod motorway car and he didn't pull me...
Old Red Celica
IF in doubt take it to a MOT station, IF they say it will fail, 2 choices. Fit normal road plate or find a tester that will allow it.

Whether your local MOT station and police care depends greatly though.
myimportedbeast
Hmmm right I've just dun some reading on the gov website and it appears that aslong as the letters are the right size and gapping and they aren't flat and are on reflective backing it should be ok but it does seem vague tbh...anyhow cheers for the info all I'm guna leave them on coz they look ace and come mot time if they fail then Iwill jjust stick the original plates over :-) temporarily.
