N-Seven Posted 10 March Report Posted 10 March Hi guys, Unfortunately due to recent life circumstances I am now looking to sell my project ST182 Castrol Gen 5. I know it's a bit of a loaded question but I genuinely don't know what to advertise it for. It's a running project and it's last MOT was 10 years ago. It's got 100K+ miles on the clock, the Castrol decals are not in the best state. The engine turns over and runs and it has some cool features like the air vent in the roof etc. Any advise would be greatly appreciated. Cheers
daveRC Posted 10 March Report Posted 10 March Need some more info: Pics? Rust? Spare parts? Whats left to finish and getting it to a roadworthy car?

I'll add some pics as soon as I can. Rust wise its good, it's been garaged for about 10 years so its clean in that respect. Because it's been stood so long I think it would need all the fluids changed and a set of tyres at the very least.
Xanadu Posted 13 March Report Posted 13 March £750 as a starting price for a running project, but more if it has a fresh MOT. 1
_Chris_ Posted 14 March Report Posted 14 March Point me at the for sale thread when you've sorted a price in case I miss it as I don't think for sale comes up in the new content.I quite fancy a Castrol gen 5 if the price is right.

Will do mate. Will hopefully be in the next week or two I would rather it stay within the club if possible. Edited 14 March by N-Seven 1
CheltGirl Posted 14 March Report Posted 14 March I am sorry to hear that you feel you need to sell it. I know you had been looking forward to getting this car sorted and on the road.

For the good of the car I'd much prefer to see it stay in the club and get back on the road with a new owner. Edited 15 March by N-Seven 1
