Old Red Celica
On Ebay OBD2 code readers are about £12- £15. The one I have is now only £9 https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Car-Fault-Code-Reader-Engine-Diagnostic-Scanner-Reset-Tool-OBD-2-CAN-BUS-EOBD/223031484977?epid=0&hash=item33edb66231:g:rkgAAOSwCA5baCHy

myimportedbeast
Try this one mate. I've left it plugged into my car and it gives loads of live data plus you can check for historic or current fault codes. It tells you which app to download. https://rover.ebay.com/rover/0/0/0?mpre=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.ebay.co.uk%2Fulk%2Fitm%2F232988014440

Old Red Celica
Bought one of those cheap ones myself. It did not read codes so contacted the seller and got a full refund, without the expense of return postage.
