  1. its odd. sometimes I get a clicking noise when the key is in position 1 and sometimes it doesnt. Then when I turn to positiin 2 for it to turn over, the problem is either nothing for about 1 second then it fires up. Or sometimes it fires up and then the engine starts off very slowly and picks up to idel speed. battery is fine and starter turns.
  2. In my never ending quest to resolve my groggy start up, I was appointed to this part. What exactly does it do and how can this effect my start up or how does it wear out?
  3. http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/140MM-EXHAUST-BAFFLE-DECIBEL-KILLER-FOR-4-102MM-PIPE-/200606943321?pt=UK_CarsParts_Vehicles_CarParts_SM&hash=item2eb51b0859 so this is what I need. a through pipe. How will this effect performance?
  4. what dobyou mean the end of it was closed? The inside bit you mean? There are some which isnt like a hole filter but just a tube like thenurspec. will that work?
  5. think this'll work? http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/4-Universal-Exhaust-Silencer-Db-Killer-Fits-Jap-Box-Baffle-Bung-/251045314055?pt=UK_CarsParts_Vehicles_CarParts_SM&hash=item3a73777e07
  6. I saw the apexi one. Think t was £115 and I dont want it to be poud when im caning it in the motorway so I thinm a fixed silent bug is what Im after. I didnt know nurspec made bugs. Are they all interchangeable?
  7. I have a hks silent. Nice. Since changing the front to a 3 inch flexi and decat, its noticeably louder. Today I did quite a bit of motorway driving and I was going crazy. Q. Does anyone know if the japspeed exhaust bung can reduce the deep drum? I am assuming the back boxes are 4" same as my HKS so it should be compatible rite? Where can I get one?
  8. I would not be surprised. Oil technology has gone a long way over the past few decades and we now see more and more different brands of advanced oils in the market. We already know good leading brands at different grades feel very different and this seems like its raising the bar that bit more. I would give this a try on my next service.
  9. have to disagree We use it ALOT! Its just a matter of finding a good one. If anything, I prefer the fly eye over the film. They curve and stick better and gives a more consistent tint over a stretched film. However it is a very different look up close. But step back and you can't tell the difference. This is fly eye which took me 15-20 mins to apply. Had it been a film it would had been over an hours job to do this.
  10. you can use either as your lense is red but I'd personally put red as it will be even more "redder"... if there is such word?
  11. did you by any chance go in there to fix your air con?
  12. why not buy forged or Ti nuts? ally nuts always break and you can't torque them up as much as stock and known to loosen up. I have ally nuts which are really light and I've shattered 3 already but lucky had spares. I think I'm going to buy Ti nuts soon.
  13. Then if the offset isn't low enough it still mite not fit over the massive front calipers of the GT4. Have you test fitted them yet? Aside from that the alloys look nice but a bit small for my likings. If they don't weigh much then I'm sure they'll make a good set of track wheels. Good luck finding the 4th wheel.
  14. did they come off a crashed celica GT4 or a non turbo?
  15. I dont think anyone intends on cooking their brakes. They are suppose to be performance brakes after all.
  16. oh dear. Anoher ebc problem. last time it was a vented disk cracking off on a gt4.
  17. I doubt theyre gona stop a door putting a dent on the side of your car. I now refuse to park in busy supermarkets.
  18. yiu not need heat not hivh air flow. Common mistake many people make when trying to wrap. The ideal heat gun should be very hot very fast at the trigger but low air flow otherwise youlland nd up blasting the vinyl causing it to tangle, fold and get dirt on it.
  19. whoops sorry that was the silver carbon I tried after. Thats not vinyl.
  20. I did 4 years back If you let me know exactly what parts you want wrapped, I can give you a quote
  21. Jason. Next time you go you'd better invite me. Jamie I'll be in Malaysia getting married that month. Are you going in the GT4?
  22. Thanks Jason. The think is I am a bit naughty and Id really want to try and push my car too but be safe to do so. I think a few spin outs is a must but woulnt want it to be too costly or too damaging.
  23. ok. sooo anyone want to join me? Whens the next TSS?
  24. im afraid of the cost of TSS.Ive seen the adiction.
  25. would you say it's ok for a beginner? I was thinking I should go to an air field first time so if I spin out I only spin in tarmac.
