  1. There are nice ones around though. A guy was selling a black one on here recently for a fraction of the price this would cost to make into an ex donkey.....thats where I went wrong with my turquoise one. Bought of some muppet on ebay who had not actually changed the oil for 3 years
  2. You can't polish a turd. I had a good old polish attempt for that £500 and it has ended in total disappointment. Its just sitting there now. What can you do with a car that owes you £1000 thats probably worth about £200 on a good day though? I want the wheels off it, dunno how to go about that really as then I will have a car with no wheels haha. this one in the post has the shitty 14" wheels too. They are really good around town but not as good as the 15s handling wise
  3. Got a similar rotbox on my forecourt at the moment. Come and save that one if you like. I bought it cos I really missed my 5, paid £500 for it, spent £500, lo and behold, its a complete shitter and wants setting on fire or pushing into a lake
  4. yeah thats right by the tip on bickenhill, you can't escape it dude lol. the motorway is also especially dusty in those areas around the airport and so is the a45, always construction work going on
  5. I live in Birmingham and the entire city is like a desert, I've stopped doing the wax thing as its just pointless, wash and spray on shine, dry with a cloth, takes 30 mins to clean, no point in doing more because overnight is covered in dust again. Combination of airpollution and many local businesses being construction companies or waste management companies and lorries everywhere full of sand lol
  6. It was a horrible ST though. Looked OK from the outside but the inside was literally 100% dog. Just could not get rid of the smell, so minging lol
  7. <£1000 in many instances too for the GT. I had an ST and I could barely get £200 for it when I sold it. I couldn't believe a car with MOT could ever be worth much less than £500....surely that is one of the cheapest cars money can buy
  8. Here's a great link from the BMW forum. Holy crap those guys know their stuff. There was a PHD Physicist on there talking serious science and who should pop in but the product manager of terraclean talking bollocks about nano particles and posting what appears to be deliberately misleading photos. Then he just disappears at the end leaving the important questions totally unanswered haha. http://www.m5board.com/vbulletin/e39-m5-e52-z8-discussion/68535-solution-carbon-build-up-terraclean.html
  9. Yeah exactly dude. Loads of claims, not one shred of evidence or lab data to back any of it up. To me sounds just like this lot: http://www.asa.org.uk/Rulings/Adjudications/2005/8/Ecotek-Technologies-Plc/CS_40177.aspx No thanks. Got to hand it to them though, they have convinced a ton of people to spend £110 on what most people seem to think is basically a bit of injector cleaner. Profits for dealers of this system must make an absolute fortune. If it wrecks your engine you could just say 'ah, but the terracleaning brought your awareness to the problem! you would have never noticed otherwise!' lol.
  10. I saw someone mention this stuff in another thread the other day and my first reaction as a confirmed cynic was 'what absolute b*llocks' Marketing these days is so powerful all you need to do is put a picture of some guy off the telly on the advert (in this case Ed China) and you convince at least one person. That person then goes and tries to convince everyone who knows, if he succeeds then they all go off and it just spreads like wildfire, whether the product is good or not is largely irrelevant, no one actually considers this point these days, we just listen to the people that say what we want to hear and ignore everyone else. Only thing I would put in my engine is oil. Any loose debris can be removed by changing the filter, maybe once in a while a good flush with oil. Most manufacturers advise strongly against using such cleaning products too, they can and often do cause damage....
  11. You need the code off the barrel to order one from toyota to match your key. Only takes a couple of days to order
  12. Tri spokes are fly as s**t Got a set to go on to replace the 5s
  13. Happy 1 Anniversary Klaxon!
