  1. Happy Anniversary Alex991!

  2. Yeah but even with blue skies today mine seemed to be a lot worse
  3. Once you get it moving, don't keep undoing it. Undo it, do it up, un do it a bit more then wind it on again etc. Works any dirt or rust on the thread out of the nut you are taking off so it doesn't build up
  4. My car is covered in it. I gave it a quick blast off yesterday and now it is covered again May give it a proper wash Sunday but don't want to find it covered the next day...
  5. Diesel is oil so not surprised that it works as it doesn't evaporate like petrol does and just runs through.
  6. I think you mis understand mate. The plastics surrounding the engine bay I use normal plastic clips. The anodised bolts and washers replace the bolts holding the VVTLI cover to he head. Also I replaced a couple of 10mm bolts holding the headlights in and the wings etc. I will try to get a pic up at some point
  7. Huh? They are just standard replacement 10mm head bolts but allen key style with a anodised washer... I just put them where ever they fit (Bolts on headlight, wings, plastic covers, front bumper etc to smarten up the engine bay. They are not plastic clips
  8. Yeah by paypal.. they are $1.50 a set of 6, so $4.50 for 3 lots then the postage was $4 I think? I'm not sure, once I had it all in the basket I just clicked pay by GBP and not US and it came to £7 something. I am not going to pay £8.50 for one set when I can get 3 sets for less.. so I'll support whatever is more convenient and cheaper if the same quality.
  9. Yes you could, and get 1 pack of 6 for £8.50. I managed to get 3 sets of 6 (18) for just over £7 delivered
  10. Yeah it gives you a price at the end, its reasonably cheap. I had 3 sets of 6 sent out and it cost me £7 lol ... Just ordered some steel anodized wheel nuts from that site too, £24 inc del.
  11. Yeah Have not fitted them yet though. Got them from here; http://www.aliexpress.com/snapshot/6019705292.html
  12. Skunk2 anodised bolts and washers Tidy up the engine bay a bit
  13. Are there any near Bristol or not far from? I cannot find any even with a google search....
  14. Exactly what I was saying We would have sets of four off at work to just change the valves
  15. This is why I will not put flash valve caps on a car. 1 it attracts unwanted attention from kids and teenagers trying to cure boredom.. 2 in the winter they can seize to the valve depending on terrain driven etc Plenty of people come in to work when they grit the roads and when winter comes round to get their valves changed because they cannot get their metal ones off
  16. Nah not those, I bought some other tein ones off ebay for £250 that had been sat around for 18 months. They are all fine but have a slight knocking from rear, going to inspect and see if it is the shock so trying to be prepared Already checked rear drop links Thanks tech
  17. Where is a good place to get a pair of rear tein coilovers overhauled? Preferably close to bristol Oh and how much would I be expected to pay? Done a little research and apparently tein in california charges $75 per damper so can't be too bank breaking, any info will be great!
  18. Also sometimes when doing up the 13mm bolts on the caliper the nut on the other end can spin, want to make sure you grip that with a spanner or grips so the bolt actually pinches
  19. The caliper bolt is 13mm, the carrier bolt would be larger so I would guess he is on about the caliper one. The carrier bolt would most likely be the on at 70 odd nm
  20. Seeing this, next time I fill up I am going to give shell nitro a try. I normally always fill up at morrisons just because its cheaper even though I pass a shell garage on the way... hmm may need to rethink this
