Yeah, sadly it was only the 2.2 non turbo but the handling was years ahead of it's time, comfortable and quiet and without the power bulges it was quite a wolf in sheeps clothing. Oddly felt a bit short of character and if I could have either of them back? TR4 every time. Completely different era but just sooooooooooo much fun and now worth a small fortune.

Worst of reasons for selling I've owned over 20 cars through the years and I have only "patted" 3 on a regular basis BB, a TR4a irs and an audi quattro coupe of the "fire up the quattro" generation. The other 2 were sold due to "circumstances" so I know how you feel. Hope things are back on the up soon for you.

All down to budget and driving style. I drive a bit quicker than average but don't make a habit of trying to stand it on it on its nose going into bends (slow in, fast out is what "lift" is for innit??? ) It'll do .....for now...... Sorry, to clarify. New wilwoods about £600 New avensis calipers and avensis discs little more than half that. Both TSport discs and calipers (& the pads that fit them) imo simply too small to haul the car up quickly, esp repeatedly. No point replacing Tsport caliper with new Tsport caliper. Fresh discs better the knackered ones ditto pads and when replacing upgrade over standard as a minimum. BUT new vin ordinaire discs pads hoses = 200 (hoses £60 of that). For 400 (with avensis discs and calipers) don't know if you would need new hoses, the performance can be transformed as opposed to slightly improved, allegedly lol.

I have his Mtec grooved all round, Mintec pads and braided hoses, . Fine for what they are but if I was doing it again and known of the avensis option I would have done that. Not enough funds for willwoods which are a bit overkill. Very nice overkill, but over my budget. The front disc and pads are just too small. Silly cost saving nonsense but at least the brace cuts some of the excessive travel I had.

well done. best value. master cylinder brace. Upgrade disc quality or size if you can plus avensis caliper to match. Good luck.

Yes, yes ok! Feeling as rough as a badgers proverbial. Haven't even open packages yet. I always get a crappy back to school time cold in Septemeber. Which is odd as my kids are grown up now. I blame the secretaries at work! Job 1 is to blitz them with Silver Surfers cleaner and wax then decide whether to run them on the existing rubber, probably not.
