    Just a thought but have you tried using your battery in Daves car and Daves in yours? This might prove or disprove the battery theory.

    I've only got the housings in the rears. Tbh Im not that fussed about it, just thought I may have stumbled on a find. That is in fact a big fat lie..... I HAVE got the housings up front. They too have pioneer speakers in them. They're housed in the dash next to the glove box and the steering column.

    Well the metal isn't designed to take the weight of the car so any impacts (such as a pot holes) Will cause dents and possibly buckle the wheel. If its 2min down the road, carry it mate.
