  1. thats a bugger mate , i did use Ams and some other person on ebay for my other caliper , maybe your have the upgrade brakes done for cheltenham instead , my plans have been scuppered to as i cant get my wheels till september time now ..
  2. i would also agree with VVTI , give it a nice going over Meguiars NXT car shampoo & dry , then with a Bilt Hamber (soft) claybar go over the paintwork until it appears nice and smooth then get a good polish , i used to use AG SRP but will be using Gtechniq P1 this weekend followed by a good sealant /wax ... then your love it again im sure
  3. yeah so basically unless you have deep pockets keep the celica
  4. ye now its just getting time to fit it now
  5. that looks quite familiar to the one you threw inside your car at cheltenham lol
  6. that makes me wonder mate why did you want a celica after owning a beast like this or did you have the same problem as me with high fuel prices etc ? lovely supra
  7. would you believe it ive pin pointed it on the way home tonight and its nothing like the a-pillars infact theres no noise at all no more .... hmmm well it was the clip on wide jdm mirror wasnt clipped on fully lol
  8. how come the change mate , i know why i changed cos i was fedup with having bp attached to my car all the time lol
  9. well ive taken out the plastic a pillar covers , lined a bit of velcro to the sides and the bottom groove on each side so hopefully this will resolve the sound ..
  10. a few days ago i took a quick vid of a pain in the ass vibration that i still think could be the a-pillars
  11. previous before the celica ive owned a couple of good old vauxhalls but before them i had a lot of old unreliable motors but not like these two : 16v redtop calibra 2.0 my last car was a great car but cost me the eart to run : calibra v6 2.5v6
  12. nice i was thinking of getting a spare set and spraying mine up , someone did say you could spray them sparkle red ....... lol
  13. but did it make them nice , supple and soft ... funny thing was my mate at work wanted to borrow mine earlier on his polo and hes said that stuff is bloody magic
  14. gotta be some of this stuff mate , it really does make the rubber soft and flexible ..:
  15. yeah i wont be touching internal alloys but external steel ones , hmm interesting regarding about the nuts , i see the spline nuts sometimes work and sometimes they dont either way it will be steel . thats why i wouldnt be using the free kits that they provide as they would certainly be alloy and not steel cheers for the info
  16. yeah cheers for that info , i was looking and thought id get a set of these plus a good set of locking wheel nuts as the wheels im hoping to get is a £350 set of wolfrace asiatec jdms so would like them to be secure
  17. thats good and did you get locking wheel nuts as well obviously not same ones ive been looking for some external wheel nuts for a possible set of aftermarket alloys and came up with these : http://www.driftworks.com/gt50-steel-wheel-nuts-with-key-5-colours-available.html
  18. where did you get the extended nuts from ?
  19. so im guessing that those nuts are also alloy then too..
  20. good choice rich , would be a real shame if you happened to encounter any problems with the alloy ones and the value are very good from driftworks ...plus as you are spending a lot of cash on the wheels then why not get the better wheel nuts
  21. yep so there you go , this should stop anybody thinking of adding alloy wheel nuts , i defo wont be even if they supply them with the wheels
  22. yeah i wouldnt worry about that rich as you have alloys with the steel flat end ones on your stock ones and the new alloys will defo be a tapered nut ... have you worked out what you will be doing for the 4 locking wheel nuts ? , i know your car is garaged but for the rice your paying i would defo get some good steel ones
