Gotta say this this has been one of the most usefull tools I've used over the last 6 months.

Thanks for the replys guy, just finished work and it's pi$$in down . Guess I'll stop off at B&Q tomorrow, as Halfrauds had feck all appropriate.

Ok so I've tested a clear contact adhesive to fit rubber pads to my fuel tank, which has been painted with hammerite smooth black. I don't think it's going to hold them, it just rolls off by rubbing with finger. Is there anyone out there that knows of a good product for sticking rubber pads to a painted surface, I have no idea what toyota used originally. Much obliged and desperate as I'm fitting the tank tomorrow... Hopefully. I was thinking of using that double sided webbed tape stuff if I can find it they use for sticking laminate etc. Cheers Joel

Rub it down, kurust it and seal it.

I didn't have any until today, it rained last night and I now have sand polka dots.

No problem, I'd stay away from very cheap brands though, stick to a good midrange tyre or above, I'll let others squabble about what brand is best. I quite like Avons, and have Kumhos on currently.
