  1. On older cars I used to just stick a magnet in the sump. It wasn't going anywhere and it did the same job. Just meant you couldn't take it out to clean it but hey, no one was looking to see if it was clean ;-)
  2. I just got one from LIDL for £8.99, even if it's guff I've not lost much
  3. I used dental floss to cut mine off. Then I got as much of the double sided tape of as I could with my fingers and used clay bar to clean the rest off. Came up a treat
  4. Is it you or your boyfriend that's the hairdresser? It's the wife's car...and she's a pole dancer, not a hairdresser (Okay, it was actually said about her MGTF but it shut the fecker up)
  5. Ooooo, that's your car, I won't be needing these knickers then
  6. Got the smoked side repeaters, three minutes of work to fit them.
  7. I use Halfords pre paint wipes. Can't remember their proper name but I'll send you a pic of them in a couple of minutes. I reckon Autopaint in Thornton would have them cheaper though.
  8. Just got 2 X 4L of fully synth for £20, that'll do till next year I think!
  9. Happy Anniversary Scottish Storm!

  10. Thanks folks, now just to get the FTO road worthy and I'll feel a bit spoiled - but thats a shed load more work to go!
  11. After having the car a few months it went for its first MOT today and flew through Very chuffed as you can imagine
  12. Japanese dealers are cool, I've just ordered inner wing panels for a 1994 FTO from mitsi. Sorry Bill, but they'll take about a week! I can live with that. That's the main reason I stayed Jap when I got a replacement for the FTO
  13. Got some at the weekend plus, ten pound gift voucher if you spend fifty quid.
  14. Welcome to Celica Club UK Scottish Storm :)
