powder coating for 4 wheels is £81.40 std colour, silver, black,white etc. not sure about the shot blasting bit? . cost for me in a metallic silver was £145.00 including tyres removed and replaced by local tyre place.

depending on size and what u want , place nr me in bradford £1 per wheel inch + vat. for powder coating, you would need to take tyres off, and suppose a spare set to use.

they look like std wheel nuts, have u checked inside the rear plastics (driver side ) there is a door that pulls out, should have a jack and wheel brace in there

ok so i have a donor stereo, noticed the leds can be changed around the numbers and buttons, but can the screen be changed to blue as well. anyone want to pm me a price, including return delivery.

mmm, my bro in law had 4 separate shades to chhose from when he did my bumper. shame he cant do any private work any more and place he works charge top dollar. tell me more, is it someone u know or have used?

so, having got new door fitted, it is clearly a lighter shade than rest of the car, only option i have now is put the old door back on or, try get the colour blown in, to match up so does anyone know of a good paint shop or can recommend one.

ha cheers, did the lock this mornig, took 10 minutes. cant believe it went back in so easily. right back on with the wing, and interior then full wash and t cut this afternoon.

in the cold light of day, the door (t cut) slightly different shade to rest of the car, so gonna have to t cut the whole car. gonna replace interior this afternoon, re try new wing. if it doesnt line up, gonna have to put old wing back on. then the door lock , not looking forward to this at all.

so got out this afternoon, took passenger wing off, which included, lowering bumper, and side skirt. also removed light for a bit more access. manged to get the lock out of existing door and removed door, which involved removing glove box, door card and part of the interior. fitted new wing, and bolted bumper back up then realised i hadn't put the light on and not connected the bolt that goes thru the wing and into the headlight. so bumper back off and fitted correctly, had a job lining the wing and bumper up, which when done, the light did not sit correctly. so, give up on that and tried to fit the new door, christ, this was impossible on my own , so rang a pal who couldn't make it til 5pm. sat in frustration and decided to take wing back off. got half way thru when my mate turned up. we got the door on but it was catching on the wing, ahhhhhhhhhhhhh. getting hightly peed off now. eventually took the new wing off and positioned the old wing , fit like a glove. i now think the original wing is slightly warped or bent to fit. got too dark to carry on so, door on without the lock. old wing temp bolted on. will start again tomorrow afternoon. but i feel i am gonna be stuck with the original wing. and NOT looking forward to trying to fit the door lock. will try to put pics up when i figure out photobucket pics on my mod thread

So. Today i will mostly be taking the passenger wing and door off and replacing with the new bits Any advice appreciated. Mek where is this guide re locking barrel, will be back on here this afternoon. As the lock is my main worry Football this morning ,so will be making a start after lunch. Anyone in the area welcome to call and watch. ( or help)

well after digesting all the info re the wing i decided to sand back the silver wing , prime it , paint it and lacquer it using 2pac paint to match better than the rattle cans. then as always a mint grey wing becomes available. so i have 1 silver wing with a few scratches on it, passenger side. 1 x grey wing with a couple of tiny rust spots on and a driver side one almost mint. will list these in for sale section shortly.

yeah, would you recommended primer or will the sanded silver wing be ok to spray the colour straight onto.

I'm gonna attempt a respray of a wing i have in silver, to thunder grey. so 1. if sanded and smoothed would it still need to be primed. 2. do panels have a lacquer coating or just the paint colour 3. anybody done this with rattle cans or am i best using a compressor. 4. how much paint would i need for a gen 7 wing thanks in advance for advice.

what about main screen, can this be changed as well as all numbers / symbols. as martin3df looks like screen is still stock orange.

little update, swapped the main leds on the climate control, but gonna leave little symbol ones orange for now. would like to give a big thanks to all who offered their help. SO, next question, can the leds be changed on a stock stereo?, and has anyone done it?

i have bought a new climate control unit and donor window switch with the plan to alter light to blue, read insolent minx thread on the window switch and i am not up to the job, i have all the leds for the climate control but will need the leds for the window switches. is anyone offering soldering services, who could undertake this job. if so pm me with a price. ANYONE SWAPPED THE LEDS IN A STEREO?
