  1. Yeah, will do, and thanks for checking, really appreciate it (everyone on here is always so helpful). Once this is done hopefully can help others myself
  2. Hi cheers for the offer but have one already Awesome find! :D will need to measure up the studs but fair amount from remembering was still exposed (car is not outside at moment) Will measure up tomorrow and report back
  3. It's not the connection to exhaust that might be an issue, as its miles out anyway, but the downpipe hitting the rad fan but think it should be ok with a spacer Yeah, and the other bits like dropping the crossmember just to get the damn oil pan out! For one little bolt....
  4. Cheers guys! Had thought of clocking turbo but that doesn't move the actuator as clocked on compressor side...I believe. Like the spacer idea, neat. Will take a look at the bits tomorrow like you say, no future issues, assuming doesn't push downpipe to far forward Thanks for the ideas!
  5. cheers, no one else seems to have had this issue so wandering if something isn't lined up.... I am worried about temps and a split hose (bye bye coolant!) - will poke about tomorrow to see how the pipes are all set up in terms of being able to remove
  6. These are the two pipes I plan to remove and replace with hosing, what could go wrong?
  7. Hi, I'm fitting a turbo (CT26) to my 3SFE. The wastegate actuator is hitting the outermost metal waterbypass pipe for coolant system. See this diagram below, It hits the righthand side of the front pipe. To fit the turbo I need to remove part of that pipe. It looks like it's easier to actually cut it on the left hand side, where it separates from the pipe behind. My plan was to cut it on the left and right hand side, remove and run a new pipe in it's place, that has enough flex to fit around where the actuator will then sit. My question is assumedly these are metal due to heat as run next the exhaust manifold. Will high temperature hose be ok ? As I need it flexible enough to move out the way of the actuator. But don't want it to melt! Any good tips?
  8. Thank you. Cool, will do just that! thanks again
  9. As title, 3sfe engine but in general as I am sure it is a general item. Pipe that pushes air, not sucking, from head into air intake pre throttle bottle. Assuming it is recyling something, but anyone give me a nod to what it is and does specifically? Reason being wandering if with turbo still fine to fit into the pipes pre throttle body/post intercooler. Thanks!
  10. If I see I will wave but honestly, I do often miss them only for my girlfriend to say a car like mine just went by!
  11. No photos as at airport but Silicone hoses, front mounted intercooler, various gaskets, bloody hard to find (for me) 3/4 to 20mm oil filter adaptor as bought the wrong relocation kit, and a t-piece might need another oil pressure senser as my cheap eBay one rattles....
  12. wire this into my current wiring? http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Toyota-Camry-Carina-Celica-Hiace-Hilux-Lambda-Sensor-/180408577160?pt=UK_CarsParts_Vehicles_CarParts_SM&hash=item2a01306c88
  13. Hi, I've put this in general as it covers multiple gens, if a mod thinks it should be in the 6th gen apologies. Does anyone know if I can use a st185 style lambda sensor and plug into my 3sfe connector? As turbo downpipe is for the gt4 type, but my one is a screw in one for SSI or gt 6th gen...
  14. It's not it's the SSI, so an ST202 which means it is going to be close I would have thought ? Be interested in any conclusive answer on this one myself.
  15. the cat is smaller on a 3sfe, not sure how much an issue that is (if you are replacing the whole thing). I think by about 10cm? I know I had to get a specific one from TCB Parts when I needed it changed.
  16. Third turbo...the best so far in terms of shaft play one other is ok, the other is def dodgy! So will end of with two ok ones What needs 1000cc injectors
  17. Where they for anything ? Mine has them, assumed they were standard?
  18. Spot on and thanks for not saying use the bloody search function. Cos I should have Ps was after that 3sfe exhaust part ? You mentioned you might be able to help ?
  19. So I have dare st wheels, 7j offset 40. Came with car, though now have accumulated quite a few balancing weights! Anyway, wheels look too inside of the car if you know what I mean, but I am not that knowledgable about spacers. Are they worth getting/safe, and is it trial and error in terms of size needed? Will my bolts be too short? Is it better to save up for alloys that stick out more? Have gen 6 any words if wisdom be useful
  20. Cheers Jeff didn't realise they didn't get 3sge, once size fits all 5sfe then. That's cool, will go ahead with the 3sge injectors then. Have 4 days booked off in march, will be reporting back, two turbos now so have a back up On a slight tangent did read an interesting thread on a guy who put a older 3sge head on his older 5sfe and got it working. http://www.toymods.org.au/forums/tech-conversions/43868-tutorial-how-build-cheap-5s-ge-motor-5s-fe.html
  21. Hi, question on injectors for my 3sfte build, I have 3sge injectors (295cc I believe, green top) that I was going to fit, but on reading a lot of the 5sfte builds, they recommend supra n/a injectors (315cc). Can get some from the US used for not that much, but are they needed? Only planning low boost, will I max out the 3sge's pretty quickly ? 3sfe injectors are 200 cc injector info from here; http://www.club4ag.com/faq_and_tech_pages/Toyota_Injectors_Specs_Data_Denso.html
  22. Was trying to see, on phone though so too small, is it plastic gear knob ? As looms exactly the same inside as my SSI, no leather ! And way over priced!
  23. Just bought 4 Falken Ze-914s myself, like mentioned, Eff E Wet Brake B, thought wet braking was a priority in these times! Got them on blackcircles, so £85 fitted each, ah well Still didn't seem to much to me. Seem good though, better than my mix of 4 different cheap as chips budget tyres, especially with the wheel alignment finally after changing my lowering springs! big difference.
