  1. Late invalid entry but I had a total Vauxhall feature shoot on a roundabout Never mind Photobucket being daft
  2. Buying a used car is a gamble, you win some and you loose some. Ive driven my celica 110k plus 60 before I had it. I've replaced the clutch, they wear? And a brake calliper, again I've just rebuilt 2 on a mates DC2. If you expected a old car not to have issues it isn't going to happen.
  3. I past that many years ago, nearly heading to 200,000 now
  4. Both very similar colours from what my eyes show haha. I've spoken to a mate of mine who does vynl stickers for a living. He's happy to match the original decals for literally a few quid,
  5. I've got no worries about refurbing them myself normally, I can paint well and have all the kit I need just never had to deal with the corrosion like this before, typical jdm wheels really. The best way I see is to get them chemical stripped which they do. I asked for the wedssport bronze the colour the sa70's come in. No problem they said. They are extremely good at what they do, the cars in work have all finishes done and they look like new, the only way I can tell they've had a refurb at times is because there too glossy. If I wasn't getting married in a few months I'd have them done with flat out.
  6. Yeah flat out alloys, steep but they are bloody good.
  7. How can I protect them? E tech primer?
  8. Just popped into a very good wheel refurb place we sent all our cars from work too to get a cost of refurbishing my wedssports. £95 a wheel. That's just under £400 for a refurb without the decals, Little more than I had expected, but I know they'll come back looking like new. Normally I'd just do this myself without a second thought but my wedssports are very heavily corroded so I need to try and sort that, and stop it returning? How do I go about getting rid of the corrosion for good?
  9. Happy 5 Anniversary Cleario!

  10. Me too, that was still a 1.8 at that point, I put in zlet in it, made just under 300bhp. Then it got rear ended on the motorway and written off I still look for a 888 cheap enough.
  11. Speak to freaky, in sure he sells metal rings.
  12. That puntos still sat on my drive, been there since May lol.
  13. I've used it as a get me home when my punto cooked itself 120 miles from home, it got me home. Would I use it as a 'fix' HELL NO!
  14. Looks like 3DSM 0.01 to me too. Looks like Picks car, he was a member on here a while back too. http://www.celica-club.co.uk/forum/index.php?/topic/150781-picks-190/page-10
  15. Bad times on the shopping! Hmmm I wonder if Toyota didn't seal the hole from factory then?
  16. Grab a few pictures. Are the skirts oem or have you fitted them?
  17. We have a 2005 mustang in work with them. Looks ok on that. But it doesn't have any Windows behind them. Not on a celica unless it was made post 70's
  18. I think the celica owner need to raid the sweets out the back of the van!
  19. Whereabouts are you? If your local enough to me I may be interested. The 7 engines seem a walk in the park to work on.
  20. Cut their fingers off! Did they take anything? Or just mindless scum?
  21. You'll probably knock it and push a few more fins fitting it. Pop it in and forget about it.
  22. I had the coupe, it had heated seats, cruise control, comfy leather seats that the leg support adjusted. I had a Clifford alarm with global closure so I could leave them open and lock it. Oh and 300hp to put a smile on my face. But it spent 80% of ownership broken!
