  1. well you dont need the whole car just the lower center console aint any of the scarppies got a 5 in them
  2. i would go back to where you had the wheels balanced and have them check them one of the wheels could have thrown one of the weights off if the rim hadnt been cleaned properly before it was stuck on just tell them you getting wheel vibration at 70
  3. i done mine via satnav and even at 70 there is like only 2mph difference between my speedo and the satnav and judging by the other traffic it cant be far out at all
  4. high beam was on but you also have to take into account that the garage is also alot higher up than the house it self the picture was to illustrated that i didnt have the yellowing of the beam which others say they get with the night breaker plus`s
  5. have you tried the boot to see if that locked as well
  6. i would wire that into the igniton live switch so that it will only be active when the ignion is on hence not running down the battery if you have it on battery live igniton live is normally red best way to be safe though is go and get yourself a multimeter they always come in handy for stuff like that b&q do a nice little cheap one
  7. i managed to get rid of the yellow look on my 5 managed to find some legal e marks crystal head lights and with the night breakers they work well
  8. sticking with the hids wont be an option soon as they are ment to be an mot fail so will have to change them
  9. the reason for up grading to the nightbreakers in the 5`s is that they are notorious for having poor lighting putting the osrams in just brings it up to what you could almost call standard on most cars now and i would prefer not to hit someone walking down the road because i couldnt see them properly

  11. i changed mine for the osram night breakers and cant recommend them enough made a huge difference on mine and they are cheap as chips off ebay might be worth trying those
  12. a lot of the companies will want all oil and water taken out of the engine as well
  13. could always wire them in to the light stalk its self
  14. mine comes on when i turn the lights on same as the ash tray light
  15. need to clean the car off first unless you want them to come off again

  18. this is mine and i have to push the centre to get it to work so it could be your just missing a plate that sits behind it in the middle which rests on those two springs then you press the centre for it to work and the out side of the triangle sits rigid
  19. i would say that last pic is the horn push rich hence the plastic isolator between the two bits so looking at the that whole center is the push horn the black wire there in it goes to the positive on the boss its earth out through the coloum then once you puch the center it makes the positive negative connection hence horn works
  20. clever ploy really over price it like that and it gets people looking and talking about it so he got more people that are going to see it = more chances of selling it
  21. i would ahve taken the fog lights out as well could have sold them
  22. can you not get a large chok block for now and just join the two ends might be bit of a mess but might work
