  1. my oh my, If I had the money I woudl buy it, take the spoiler off, and smack him around the head with it! And then use it to shovel the snow off my drive when it starts to snow!
  2. Brinkz I think you should get some CCUK stickers for your windows in Yellow & White from mook, would be a nice touch... personal opinion lol heres a quick mock up of the colour combination.
  3. I do like your before/after pics Ben
  4. my other half prefered my chaved up Clio..... and she even looked at a new ford KA eysterday, seriously... what have I commited my life too here? lol all in all, she couldnt care less, a car is a car to her.
  5. Mines a 03' Facelift and regular checks to the oil show no signs of me losing any as described in pre-facelifts. Fully Synth was used in all previous services, all receipts are in the book, last service was a year ago, and every year b4 that... by the same garage which is only down the road from me
  6. I've done 5,000 miles so far. I just really cannot afford the £144 quid right noiw and TBH I have family members who can service the car for/with me, exactly the same as a garage will, for no charge and added bonus I gain more knowledge
  7. I recieved a letter through the door yesterday from Vic Youngs, a Nissan Dealer where I live where I bought my Gen 7 from. About my car is due a service, price of £144. I've had the car almost a year now. I recently had a free heealth check done there and all came back perfect, for a 9 year old car anyways. I think my cars on 56-57,000 miles. Its running sweet never had any problems with it. I'm going to check the servie book on my break which has list of full service history. Should I get the service done, or wait until I hit 60,000 miles and get service done then, or do my own service? your thoughts please.
  8. I live by the sea so should be able to do this quite easily
  9. Yup! a Skyline R33 GTR! but I do love the interior setup of my Gen7! I was bitten by the celica bug not long after I got mine mate. I think my next car will be either a Celica GT, or a 350Z or a Skyline R33,but believe me my Celica has many years left with me! I'm going to run this one down to the ground. this morning it was overcast and raning but the lighting was very nice, and the lights from my interior plus the Halek Gear Ring gives a great touch to the lighten inside. also, the center console:- I would be out off by a car if it did not have some sort of arm rest. I had a brand new Golf GTi when my car wa sin for repairs and for a 18 grand car, I would pick my Celica over that anyday. the inside of that Golf was horrible! and NO ARM REST!! Besides I wouldnt of sed it was that much faster than my Celica so couldnt justify the money!
  10. ever considered lambo doors? couple hundred quid for the hinge conversion.
  11. Edit, I can now see Euans attached photo's. adding those red noses is genius!
  12. Took me bloody ages to get my silver club stickers off yesterday! Hopefully my new ones wont be ocming off for a while.
  13. I'm fitting lambo doors next btw! My cousin used to do the conversion on many cars when they became popular years ago. 300 quid for a direct conversion with spring struts to takr the weight of the door when lifting them up
  14. Agreed, I like the back end tho. Specially the 'TWIN'(not twice lol) exhaust
  15. Seen this this morning, Stunning car, I think it may well be a previous members car
  16. Ive just ordered a new set of club stickers. What text with blue logo I'm yet to see another celica with club stickers round where I live lol.
  17. All I really like about that car is the TRD Spirts M badge lol.
  18. Wont the Black text make it harder to make out as is gets darker outside? Also, i take it yous not going to be getitng your windows tinted anytime soon? CCUK stickers are always good tho
  19. What usually happens to me is when I have a car I see/notice other drivers of same vehicle more often. But ever since owning my celica I've never had so many compliment on my car. From the kids in my street always wanting to help wash the car when I'm washing it (this neve happened when I had my clio lol) to the ammount of head turners I've had, I love the tone of our engines. they stand out alot and cause alot of ppl to look round. And I have no aftermarket exhaust or anything, just a beasty 140 vvti! Ever since getting my kit on I've noticed more n more people checking the car out, specially other celica drivers. One guy went round a round about looking at my car instead of the road... yes mate, that be a greddy front lip! But I must admit, I drive round town every day and I'm dissapointed I've not spotted Liam in his 'GREEN' Gen 7, he only lives 2 miles from me IF THAT lol. but I'm yet to see his rare island green celica on the roads. you will get a nod, flash, thumbs up, and maybe a toot of the horn haha! and I dont know if its because of my stelth front, with greddy lip to add aggression but ppl seems to move out my way in the fast lane, even when I'm happily just driving behind them following traffic, leaving plenty of space lol.... are they intimidated by my cars looks? muhaha!
  20. sounds good to me I cant be doing with orange dials for much longer haha!
  21. Ah reet so we buy that dial kits off mook and send those and the speedo units to you? Might just be easier getting mook to send the dial kits to you instead of me? then when you receive the kits send you the speedo unit? Plan?
  22. I was thinking about taking my Dials out and sending them to mook to have my dials changed to new ones, I drive about 100 miles a week and lets say I dont get my dials back for a week. surely if your car is showing 100 miles less than it has actually done its nothing to worry about when it comes to selling your car or anything. especially when my cars 8 years old and on 55,000. and cant you just drive and use a satnav to see how fast your going. Sat navs are mroe accurate than speedo's anyways, or at least speedo's straight out the factory.
