  1. The difference in the headlights gaps I think your describing is the same on mine and RoryK's. It's not that major but noticeable.
  2. Yeah just clicked on paisley whom I would probably use to collect from someone. Cheers for that tip mate! I'm assuming a GT rear bumper will fit a facelift T-Sport...
  3. I don't seem to have much luck with rear bumpers. I got minor damage to the oem which is £120 if I wanted it repaired. Then upgraded to a Fensport one. Whilst very sporty and low, a clip has come off it. It's slightly hanging and I don't want to lower with it anyway. So...there's an ideal oem one for sale collection only. Could any one do me a massive favour and collect. I will arrange the collection, pay for that and any costs, and be greatly appreciative of having helped a fellow member out. :-)
  4. If it's the screw with the plastic top your missing, I may poss have a spare.
  5. A what shocks mate? If it's not secure is the screw and hole in good order? I'd suggest addressing that as apparently losing the spare wheel doesn't help with fuel economy much at all. Plus you'd have an even emptier space there, potentially even more acoustic road noise echoing.
  6. Link your one, not sure what I'm missing. I've got a 03 t-sport, it just extends the aerial wire effectively, same input into the stereo. It's just wiring the other cable to the power cable.
  7. Here's the one I've got, and not yet powered up. If there's better ones I'd be interested to know as I'm hoping to get good reception with a bee sting aerial.
  8. Yeah might be worth setting the thread fully private, or having comments amended now!?! I'm guessing a master spare would fully unlock it ok, and a standard key would unlock the door - but would it have set the alarm off?
  9. Good to know. I geniously blew the cig lighter fuse trying to wire a fm booster last week. Really good work on my part, that.
  10. From those photo's I'm surprised you find the latter with osram, clearer. The top photos seems much clearer to me all round. You can see the black bins on the left, and a good amount of detail on them. In the bottom pic, you can barely make out there's bins there. I got extra bright bulbs with a blue tint, which more just rids of the yellow hint. Very happy with them.
  11. That's the front windscreen air flow selector. What was meant was the internal/external air selector. I.e. where the air's coming from, not going to. The 7 has a button to recirculate internally. But no specific button to draw externally !?!
  12. My 7 only has a button to re-circulate internally. There's no button to specify external so I assumed it was fully on that by default. Is that not the case?
  13. I've put a thing plastic windscreen cover sheet on the front the past few nights and it's made such a difference. The seals at the top of the windows, and/or around the windscreens are clearly not that good. Another thing noticed this morning in the freeze was the boot was almost frozen shut, and would not close and lock properly. I had to drive 25 mins to work with the dash stating it as open, hearing it slightly - and it finally shut at work once thawed out more. I've put tapes on the boot catch to stop rattling, and lube around the catches and seals. Definitely seems to be the problematic area's just not sure what do with them.
  14. I plan on getting some mesh for the front bumper and will just mesh that area out at the same time.
  15. Cheers for the comments fella's. The USB splitter was only a couple of quid so I've got it anyway. Even if it doesn't work at all in the car I'll find a use for it. I'm still looking around for camera's, need one with a light and I could possibly put it in the silver mesh on my bumper. As for the digital tv receiver, I'm not clear any can work just via the USB? The stereo doesn't have SCART.
  16. Not sure what you mean there mate. You car has always had to be either Taxed/SORN anyway? Basically, you can't un-insure a taxed vehicle.
  17. Correct. Wrong way round, the second you stop insurance on a taxed car, your breaking the law. So if taking a car off road you need to fully SORN, before stopping insurance.
  18. There's been a few topics on this, like this one. I compare the impact of the cold to all the cars on my road and there's clearly more to this and an issue with the seals or something on a lot of our beloved Celica's. I checked my seals and lubed them, not much different. Does anyone find that it's the front and rear windscreens that get icey on the inside but not the side windows. Is this normal or indicating where the leaks are?
  19. This did the rounds and I thought it was clarified as, tax wise the car must be SORN, in order for no insurance to be ok.
  20. I've got a Pioneer AVH-3300BT unit which I don't think I'm reaping the benefits from enough and am looking at adding a few gadgets. Would all of these work in combination: USB Splitter Some of these say OS required but it should just split the signal and cater then for more than one USB input? Reverse Camera Figured I may as-well get one of these over just a beeping one as I have the screen already. Should this work ok and are they difficult to wire up? Digital TV Receiver Even if you don't use the TV lots (maybe the odd music channel) the Digital signal for that and radio stations seems appealing. Could you plug this in via USB ok, and this appears to have an antenna included so should be good to go? As with lots of dream gadgets and eBay ad's it's probably deeply flawed but this would be great. Thoughts and advice greatly appreciated.
  21. Not sure about MPG, but the car is going through the gears, pulling and performing a bit smoother. Definitely noticeable.
  22. Man, we've all had some dramatic breakups but she's clearly on major self destruct. Where do you work together, at the restaurant - whereby the managers got involved in the scuffle? 3 occurrences of vandalism to your car in 6 months is also concerning - was it in a cctv area any other time?
