i can do that meanwhile today the aftermarket wheels come off to be replaced with toyota cos i hadnt thought of that either

Well that was quick, Aviva on the phone at half eight to arrange engineer coming out tomorrow and enterprise also rang to arrange the courtesy car for today

possibly that'll have an angry man with a golf club in it

Pretty much said over the phone its going to be written off, plus Ade took a look yesterday as well as James (recovery) spotting the subframe looks twisted. Ins co have already asked if i wish to keep it and will just pay out , no good to them. And its just had new tax on it so will sorn it, remove anything useful, then James will probably flatten it and hiab it onto a pile on his truck headed for the scrappy. I wont forget to take the trd rad cap that wickie gave me

Didnt knacker the wheels , front tyre yes but the wheels are fine thankfully I'm going to pm princy about the bonnet as its now pretty much surplus to requirements unless by some miracle they dont write this off

Yep a few grand wouldnt go amiss but too many people jump on that for sake of it. I'm quite happy with the fact that they will pay me for any time off incurred from work plus any expenses including visits to my osteopath so i'll have a couple of days off (it was my weekend to work) and give him a call monday.

Well i'm impressed with the guys insurance company. Aviva. Very helpful, sending out interim £200 payment, courtesy car also coming, all costs to be covered, engineer will come out but it is really in no doubt that its a write off. Payment will then be made and would you like to keep the car madam, no need to buy back Just off down to hosp to get checked out as am still hurting , but to be honest i think a couple of visits to my osteopath will probably sort that, they will also pay for any of that immediately. So if you get bumped into looks like Aviva ftw

yep its not looking good, the fluid all over the wheel is green, also on that side by the psf , the psf is red i saw plenty of that yesterday when Ade was fitting the new cooler - green is brake fluid my guess all over my oz wheel

feeling stiff this morning, burning sensation between shoulder blades, sore neck, headache and sore shoulders and arms so prob will take a trip to a&e later - bugger could do without that

Taken a few pics, doesnt look quite so bad in daylight as last night but still reckon they'll write it off The guys dad has been on the phone this morning to apologise and tell me its been reported to insurance company and his son has told them was his fault

@ Ade, maybe thats a good thing that he picks it up in the dark will give you a ring @Princy, cheers i wasnt sure if you still had it we're going to the anniversary meet , wonder if anyone is coming from your area with a gen 6 (did you say it fits in a gen 6 but not a 5?) ccuk relay service might be needed

Thanks Carla , just logged back on cos i was laying in bed with it all going round in my head so not a chance of sleeping. I know the bumper and offside wing are definately totalled, the nearside one is ok i think as he hit me more on one side of the front and also managed a scrape on the drivers door. Headlight looks intact but is up so that may be ok and if i'm lucky the bonnet might be ok. Something went through the rad though as there was coolant all over the ground. Shame it was too dark to be able to get a proper look but we'll know more tomorrow when Ade can have a butchers at it. Will stick some pics up then
