Hope you've changed the wheel Yes quite likely was the pothole. Go back and take some pics, take tape measure or use credit card or whatever to show the depth of the hole and any sharp ridge Also take showing position so stand a few paces back and show view up road (this will be proof of its location) The contact Highways tomorrow and they will send you relevent forms Would strongly suggest you get the wheel checked for buckling at local tyre centre , if you are getting a new tyre on there straight away they will be able to tell you when it is on the machine. Dont forget to keep the old tyre If you are using spare for the mo , take it in and get them to spin it up on the machine I had two ruined Oz wheels due to potholes but had thought it was only the tyres at the time becuase they didnt look buckled

Yep well worth doing your homework here and making notes of ads, especially trade ads and make a list of perhaps 8/10 that you can have to hand when they ring up to discuss it. And never accept the first offer, it is always lower than they are prepared to go Then when the money comes through find yourself a good deal on one , you might even end up with a better one (I did with my gen 5) Hope karma takes care of the sh*t who did it

^^ This Only you can make your mind up in the end though, its about what you think not us My 2 penneth is , you may be in the situation of having sold the 6 (probably to a fellow member) buy a 7 and then possibly regret it if you have problems whilst watching someone else having many more miles of troublefree motoring in the 6 but its a chance you take you also mention wanting a better fuel consumption and then talk about wanting to mod for more bhp in the same post ? Have you driven a 7 If you have and you like them go buy one

have a look at the pipes running from, the 5 had leak up front near the rad - had to replace the cooler

did you look at the power steering level? think you'll find thats a pinky colour. i had a big pink patch wherever i parked from under front of the car and then the power steering got noisy.....

the gen 6 nothing the gen 5, wished i'd had the money for the cs that was waved under my nose and been able to get that instead

If you have alacantra on those seats too make sure you dont get the leather stuff on the alacantra edges it will likely end up showing as an oily stain
