  1. Cheers for the offer buddy but time is a bit of an issue. Preferably in the next week or two. If you delivered then I'd unfortunately just be moving out of my house and back home haha! Thanks again for considering it.
  2. Hi guys, Cait, who lives near Bolton, has some parts of mine which are quite large and slightly fragile. Rather than send my courier which will be quite expensive and don't know whether they will be in good hands... Therefore, is anyone travelling down from the North and would be so kind to pick up these parts and then drop them down here in Bath, Somerset? Of course it will be made worth your while. Just putting the feelers out there to see if anyone can help between now and resorting to a sh!tty courier. If anyone is, please get in touch. Thanks.
  3. I have 8J rims with 225/45 and they're fine. Man up and thank yourself later for that extra rubber next time you're cornering!
  4. Pirellis surely won't fit any of the cars in the club at that size?!
  5. Haha everyone that doesn't get the pedobear is too old!!
  6. Find an importation company. For example: http://www.jm-imports.co.uk/ Ask very nicely if when they're next importing a car can you get this exhaust just popped in the boot or back seat or something and chuck them £100. It'll just be empty space in there anyway so doesn't matter! And I'm sure they wouldn't say no to that! Just a thought...
  7. I had a crack repaired in mine which was only tiny on the inside but that's because my wheels are ridiculously expensive do didn't want to chuck em! Of course it'll always be better to just buy new ones but I haven't had any problems....
  8. Why does Snoop always carry an umbrella? Fo' drizzle! Ok I'll get back in my box!
  9. Agrizzle! Mostly the same until you're late! Beautiful harmony of economy (somewhat) and power! 140 just isn't fast when you need it to be. 190 is a completely different driving experience as well. Takes a good driver to keep it in lift constantly whilst still cornering properly!
  10. I've got a front one so will get it fitted soon so you guys can have a look. Se7en had a red front eye on his but didn't have a stock bumper soooooo....
  11. It's the combination of the two. So a large diameter wheel with a tiny profile could actually have the same rolling radius as stock. Conversely, if you had a small wheel with a massive tyre it could be larger than stock. Like a tractor tyre or something! haha
  12. Not a bad shout. Take a leaf out of Nissan's book perhaps. The R35 with a V6 twin turbo means you get a high bhp/kg engine output and they mounted the gearbox at the back and it seems to have worked really well. Silly Toyota!
  13. True. However, due to the nature of the wide low boxer engine being mounted longitudinally means the gearbox sits basically in the middle of the car giving good weight distribution. A transverse 4 pot would throw way more weight over the nose rather than the boxer configuration. Besides, with engine layouts its all horses for courses anyway. Attributes gained in some bits will be lost in other departments. If one was clearly better than the other then all cars would have them. Just depends what you're looking for in the car to be honest. Loads of factors to consider. Apparently for the FT-86 a boxer layout suits the type of car they want it to be. If they just wanted a cheap run around that looks fast then we'd just have another Gen7. Cheap, cheerful, woefully underpowered, FWD etc.
  14. I'll get my front one on soon then so you can have a look!
  15. I've got a blue one. Doddle to fit. Gotta do my front soon! Haha
