OK, let's try for a fairly easy one then to try and get the thread moving again. New challenge is your Celica with a copy of a national newspaper on or in it clearly showing the SAME DATE as the post reply date i.e. If you do this today it should show Sunday 9th March 2008, geddit

If it's something a bit sportier you want, I've just put my VFR750 back on the road so a quick run into the garden produced this pic If you want real superbikes, I'll take the Sunchaser to work and you can take your pick from Bill Smith Motors selection of 200 new and used If needed, next challenge is your Celica next to a classic/vintage motorbike, preferably British.

No present, but if everyone else agrees I'm quite happy for you to set the next challenge, as this thread is so near to dying on it's feet that any input would be welcome. Oh, and I think the festive theme is now over (bah humbug :xmas_mad: )

Wakey wakey everyone, the challenge is now set at your Celica next to a Santa, preferably lifesize. Don't make me dress the missus up in red/white and make her stand next to one of the Sunchasers in the back garden

Sorry !!!! It was just in an effort to keep the thread moving. I must admit to having struggled on a few of the recent challenges, as I don't seem to have a government building or a football stadium in my garden The roadgoing Sunchaser doesn't get used as often in winter now I'm commuting 50 miles a day again, but I'll make sure i have a camera with me next time I venture out of my back yard

No need Bryan, I have a 'ready erected' one next to the LHD Sunchaser (well' it's a big tree with some Christmas lights on it !!!). If this is acceptable, the next challenge is to be your Celica next to a Santa Claus, preferably a human one, but if not try and make it a life-size one at least

Not a brilliant photo, but it took some finding! Angus might be relieved to know that I don't have a pylon in my garden and that I actually had to travel out of town for this one Next in keeping with the power theme, your Celica next to an electricity sub-station.

Obviously no takers on this one, so to try and keep the thread alive please accept this as the answer to my own challenge: MR X next to our box at a one day event yesterday complete with ferocious guard dog I'll let the next poster choose a new challenge. Let's keep this going !!!!

Now I'm not the gardener in the family, the wife is. But she's at Badminton Horse Trials this weekend so I can't confirm this is a cherry tree: I've taken a close up tp see if anyone can confirm this: If it is, please take next challenge as Celica next to a horsebox lorry/horse trailer to celebrate the wife being away all weekend

I'm going to order one of these to supplement the original book I inherited with the Sunchaser, which is a personally signed copy from Brian as MR X features in the 2nd Gen section to explain the Griffith Sunchaser story. Unfortunately it was a little inaccurate in the worldwide production figures for the model, but the book is generally very informative.

Probably a bit late on this one: so I did this one as well :rolleyes: which was the next challenge set Next if there's still any interest I suggest your Celica next to a Little Chef restaurant while they are still in business... Extra points if you can get a glum looking employee next to the car

I'd like to add another car to your list of club convertibles. 2nd Generation TA40 Griffith Sunchaser 1983 (very late registered Gen 2) 1600cc 2T-B engine, 5-speed T50 manual gearbox Rare RHD car in Silver. Needs restoration and repair to rear R/H quarter following accident in 2000. That makes 3 Sunchasers in the drive now, I'll have to stop buying them or divorce will loom !!!!! Regards, Ian. -
