  1. Happy 11 Anniversary misterC!

  2. Happy 10 Anniversary misterC!

  3. Happy Anniversary misterC!

  4. That seems to meet all the requirements ! Set a new challenge please, try not to let it involve a CCUK mug otherwise ORC will try and sell us some of those to us as well
  5. Why not take one of the calendars outside and have a photo taken next to Ethel, Sabrina or THE Avon  Then you can set the next challenge and keep the thread moving
  6. I'll change it to one that should be easily manageable for virtually any member but still in keeping with a similar theme. The challenge is " Your Celica with a calendar showing January 2014 on it or next to it "
  7. I might have one in the garden but I set the challenge so it's only fair to let someone else have a go ! Gelukkig Nieuwjaar !! (if Google Translate is to be believed)
  8. What can I say, it's a big garden full of all sorts of crap !!!! I think the 'your Celica next to a Santa's Grotto sign' is now a little out of date as Santa has done all the gift delivering this year and is on his way back to the North Pole. Therefore I'll modify the challenge to ' Your Celica next to a Happy New Year sign.' This should be acheivable for most people.
  9. Now before anyone comments, I know this isn't the REAL Father Christmas but he said he's too busy right now to pose for photos, so this one will have to do. If accepted next challenge is your Celica next to a sign for Santa's Grotto.
  10. You sir are a winner !! Well done Set a new challenge please and let's keep the thread going.
  11. Well I obviously cannot win my own challenge, can I ? And as for elderly looking, can you not see I was in character as William Woollard, the Top Gear presenter from the 1980's. I am in fact in real life much younger looking as many members on here can vouch for So this challenge still stands :- "The challenge is now as above but the person does not have to be obviously elderly but can just be possibly elderly looking" And if Bryan wants to send a picture of himself next to one of his Celicas this is bound to be a winner
  12. The thread seems to have stalled again, so in a vain attept to jump-start it I will amend the challenge once more ! The challenge is now as above but the person does not have to be obviously elderly but can just be possibly elderly looking
  13. It looks as though that challenge is not going anywhere fast, so I'm amending it to make it easier and to keep the thread moving. Amended challenge is: Your Celica either outside a clearly signed old peoples home or next to one of the 'Caution - Elderly People' road signs, or at the very least with an obviously elderly person stood next to it. This should widen the parameters a bit to include parents, grandparents, partners and even yourself if you're near ORC's age
  14. I'll take Silver GT's response as a 'yes' then ! Next challenge, as it's my mother's 87th birthday today, is your Celica either outside a clearly signed old peoples home or next to one of the 'Caution - Elderly People' road signs.
  15. Obviously fame is such a subjective thing, but in motorcycle racing terms this chap is reasonably famous. His name is Ian 'Mackers' Mackman and as well as being a fairly consistently well-performing privateer rider in the Isle of Man TT races over the past few years he rose to media fame as the Norton factory rider in the 2012 & 2013 seasons. Here he is stood next to my silver Sunchaser when we were both working at Bill Smith Motors in Chester. Die-hard racing fans should also recognise the name Bill Smith from racing success in the late 1960's & 1970's. Hope this counts !
  16. As much as Dublet is right in a pedantic way, it was Ghoulscout who set the challenge and he thinks it looks good so now it's down to Sonic to set the next challenge.
  17. That met the criteria so the new challenge is as above.
  18. To take Dublet up on his farming connection, the next challenge is:- Your Celica next to a farm name sign, the type at the entrance to a farm. So as not to exclude any townies out there, a City Farm sign is acceptable !
  19. Today I donned my best beige slacks and jacket to pay homage to that hero of early Top Gear programmes, William Woollard. I've posted the man himself first for reference. I think this qualifies as fancy dress
  20. That's Mike Garner's car, a regular TEC show attendee. He has won Best of Show more than once at the TEC AGM and other shows, even more impressive if you take into account that this is not a low mileage show queen but a car in regular use. The yellow MR2 belongs to Mike and Pat Beacock, also TEC members.
  21. Well done on that one Did you get pounced on by Triumph sales staff trying to get their May target figures up
  22. Just needs to be your Celica in the shot outside the dealership, you don't need to be in it unless you really want to ! Best of luck
  23. http://www.triumphmo...d/find-a-dealer which for you is probably J S Gedge 10 Silchester Rd St Leonards on Sea East Sussex TN38 0JB 08433 833252
  24. Can't really miss you Bryan, hogging the limelight as usual To coincide with a recent change in job for me, your Celica outside a Triumph motorcycle dealership, or at the very least your Celica outside a motorcycle shop of any description.
