  1. Yo Munky, should consider a 'Rare as Fook' award. for things like this and well, anything that you don't see very often. I've seen and broken gearboxes internally but cracking a box is a first for me.
  2. OMG, how did this happen? Sorry to see this. Hope you get it sorted soon.
  3. That statement is unfortunately true compared to actuall fuel companies like Shell and BP.
  4. Glad to be of help. On the expansion tank is a hole for you to hook a wire or tie a para cord to the bonnet latch to keep it up but I also hold it up aswell whilst monitoring the coolant.
  5. Ah! And when putting new coolant in, you must detach the expansion tank and lift it higher. Got to unscrew the air box so the hoses can be lifted up that are connected to the expansion tank and run engine, let the coolant cycle for at leist 3 or 4 times with the cap and breather valve screw off. I don't recommend putting any sort of quick fix rad seal or such, as it can also block your heater matrix.
  6. Just giving an extreme example with my Husqvarna 610 the differences on coolant qualities but as said if temp rises, it should be indicated on temp gauge anyway. But leaks can be hard to see. I had a leak on my Gen7 but no coolant on the floor. Found it down the bottom corner of the rad slowly weeping.
  7. Halfrauds coolant are rubbish. They have a low boiling point. On my Husky it kept boiling at 120c but then got a more expensive coolant with a higher boiling point everything was then better. Toyota coolant is premixed to the right level so boiling point is optimum.
  8. Happy Anniversary Zorg!

  9. Am I the only Gen7 owner with Varis Arising III kit in UK? Yet tobe fitted : /
  10. Or get an AEM EMS. Brilliant piece of kit. That way the wideband can be used and close loop tune can be achieved.
  11. When looking at the bolt, anticlockwise to loosen
  12. Glad to see you've still got the Gen7. You are still officially the only semi-auto Rotrexed Celica. Mine lasted 8 days
  13. I check mine when most of the oil is in the sump. Sometimes I just check level before I start up (cold). And sometimes after a run (hot). So both really. Can't go wrong there me thinks. Btw what you doing with a Mazda6?
  14. Note the darker red front bumper without the Toyota logo?! Maybe a cat C or D
  15. Nice one. I also like the 'TRD' numberplate Bit of a bonus there.
  16. To whoever that was spreading the goodness of CCUK in Woodbridge, thanks. Silver Gen7 Saturday was my girlfriends car hehe
  17. I spoke to Adrian last year and he said about 80grand but that's with upgrades as he went along. It's quite believable cos of what Viet has spent on his Gen7.
