    Lots of grooves & dimples mean less surface for the pads to make contact with though For me, 8 grooves is too many on such a small disc, especially with a braking system renowned for having rubbish bite. Adding dimples/drilled into the mix is just taking away more contact area.

    No oil cooler. I have a higher capacity alu sump, deeper rad, TRD lower temp stat & the rotrex charge is intercooled.

    I've always used 5w 40 Gulf Competition, both NA & now boosted. However, I've noticed that my temps aren't really getting above 95 degrees C. & they're more like 80 on average. In summer that will obviously be different, but would you recommend dropping to a 30 through the colder months?

    With the zz engines they don't really make any sense as they're all aluminium, but the 6 has a cast iron block/alu head.
