  1. So I've got the wheels all fitted which I'm really impressed with them. Only issue is I cant fit the 17mm spacers on the rear due to no cut outs for the original protruding studs. So the plan is I'll get some 6mm spacers for the front which will bring the stance pretty much back to where it was and the rears im going to have to cut 8mm of the rear studs to allow the rears to take the 17mm spacers, unless anyone can think if another idea? Dont want to install new shorter studs and if I install the 27mm ones I'll have to role the arches. Does anyone know the biggest spacer you can safely run without going hubcentric? 2. Thanks for the input peeps. Now to decide what colour to go for. Gun metal Matt black Dark bronze. Sent from my SM-G973F using Tapatalk
  3. Cheers mate. I think I've gone of the oz ones. Too many spokes. Jr5 or a 5 spoke wheel on not sure. Thought i would experiment with the style first before deciding on a colour. Sent from my SM-G973F using Tapatalk
  4. Opinions good or bad please. Sent from my SM-G973F using Tapatalk
  5. They look nice mate. The problem I have is I am used to my stance with running spacers front and back. Best way for me to achive the same look is with the wheels I have included pics of. Unless I roll my arches which honestly I cant be arsed with. Just wondered if anyone can remember the maximum spacer size you can go with without extending the bolts or going hubcentric. 6. Were you running spacers with them? Sent from my SM-G973F using Tapatalk
  7. Tried them pal but no joy.... Sent from my SM-G973F using Tapatalk
  8. Thanks Lucy. After careful consideration I have decided to stick with orvs suggestion of 7.5s. Reference this I have emailed team dynamics and also in conversation with rimstyle to get a decent deal on the oz set as 1k is slot of money. If anyone finds some 7.5 et 35 17 inch in bronze please let me know. Thought i found some sparco ones but they are long gone. Sent from my SM-G973F using Tapatalk
  9. Thanks for your advice kev. It is appreciated. I've decided I'm DEFINITELY sticking with 7.5 et 35. In matt bronze. Pickings are slim unfortunately. Its a shame the oz ones are so expensive!!! Sent from my SM-G973F using Tapatalk
  10. Or my other option which I quite like is the same the same wheels bola csr but have different offsets for the front and rear. Front - 17 5x100 8 ET 25 Rear - 17 5x100 8 ET 35 From the website I used it seems to give me a decent stance with the option to get rid of the spacers both front and rear Sent from my SM-G973F using Tapatalk
  11. Thanks for the pictures pal. I think I've found another option I like. They are 17 et 35 5 x100 but with 8I rather than 7.5. What do you think @Kev 16v ? Would I be good to run these? No spacers on the front and slightly wider at the rear if I put my 15mm on the back. Sent from my SM-G973F using Tapatalk
  12. Any pics buddy? Sent from my SM-G973F using Tapatalk
  13. Think I might do mate. In fact I'll email them tonight. I'll still spend a couple of hours looking for rims mind [emoji3] Sent from my SM-G973F using Tapatalk
  14. They look nice buddy but in struggling to find a site that has the size I need. Theres no details on the page you sent me for price etc. Sent from my SM-G973F using Tapatalk
  15. Cheers mate. I spent quite a long time searching yesterday. I did find a good website though of offset and stuff. https://www.willtheyfit.com/index.php?width=215&aspect=45&diameter=17&wheelwidth=7&offset=38&width2=215&aspect2=45&wheel_size=17&wheel_width=8&offset2=40 Nit sure what to do now.....[emoji848] Sent from my SM-G973F using Tapatalk These are the ones I really like but I would need to start messing about with different spacers and stuff...... Sent from my SM-G973F using Tapatalk
  16. So the only ones I've found that meet the criteria some JR ones and Oz ones. They quite a price difference. Thought there would be more options in this size but I think I've shot myself in the foot with bronze colour. I really like the xxr 527s but they dont do them in the size I need [emoji848] Sent from my SM-G973F using Tapatalk
  17. Nice one. Cheers red. Sent from my SM-G973F using Tapatalk
  18. Man....its complicated. How come 7.5 is 6.5mm difference to 7? Isnt the .5 12.7mm? Is it because 6.5mm is half either side of the centre? Sent from my SM-G973F using Tapatalk
  19. Thanks for getting back to me Kev. Old faces are few and far between on here these days. Cant believe how quite it is!! The reason I wanted to drop them is mainly for ease when the wheels come on and off. I also fear the garage doing it in case they destroy the threads. So with a 7.5J et35 would pretty much give me the same stance as I'm currently running if I lose the 27s and fit the 17s (3mm more if I read correctly) How come your against 18s as I was thinking about them too? I'm on coilovers but do get occasional rubbing know the rear Sent from my SM-G973F using Tapatalk
  20. I got the stick mate and it brilliant. Easy to put on around the doors. Sent from my SM-G973F using Tapatalk
  21. Hi all, I am think about getting some new alloys for my G7. Thinking of a dark bronze colour. Currently I am running tech 5s which I believe are : 17 5x100 7j ET35 The thing is I'm running spacers on the front a rear. 27 rear 17 front if I remember correctly, which makes them look how I want them (pretty flush with the sills) What width and offset would I need from a wheel to get the same look without spacers?.....I'm confused by this bit [emoji2957]. Hopefully the wheel master @Kev 16v is still on here to give me advice. Regards Jim Sent from my SM-G973F using Tapatalk
  22. I've got mine to fit this week fingers crossed as well as a manifold and a rocker cover. Sent from my SM-G973F using Tapatalk
  23. I think that looks cool...... Sent from my SM-G973F using Tapatalk
  24. Make sure you grease these before fitting mate and check them regularly. They are renouned for corroding to your valve. Sent from my SM-G973F using Tapatalk
  25. Which area are you looking for in particular Sent from my SM-G955F using Tapatalk
