I like the idea of a full digital replacement for the GT4. I have a double din unit so wouldn't be too interested in the console one, plus I have 4 regular gauges, oil temp, oil pressure, water temp, boost, if these could be moved into a digital dash that would be awesome so I could go back to a standard looking dash at first glance through the windows. Awesome stuff if you do go ahead, I could probably get the cash together for it, if I got the permission slip signed by the mrs -

Good stuff that they will sort it for you. Sensible move on not bothered with the replacement. When I had my 7, I had a SRI on and it was alright, slight loss of MPG so I put the regular airbox back on with a K&N and it was better, I only did that because I was doing a lot of miles. The SRI makes for more bling in the engine bay and a bit of noise if you haven't replaced the exhaust. In terms of gains, there aren't any really.

Nasty. They'll only offer something if it is still covered by a warranty is it less than a year old? I wouldn't bother with an SRI just go back to the airbox and put a K&N panel filter in. much better.

I presume you mean the part underneath that has gt4 on it? IIRC they were made by a chap on the oc as a one off, be lucky to find one now. Btw nice to see a fairly local member, I'm in Crewe.

Hi Ian, I've moved in with the Mrs so that's my haunt now! still got my place, rented out now though. Next challenge, don't know if it's been done before but your celica with some Formula 1 history/memorabilia.

If its anything like the 6 you have to remove practically all the interior panels.

Probably not, but just a few layers of masking tape over the glass will be more than adequate. The paint won't stick if it seeps through so thinners would clean it.

How often do you touch your headlining? painting would be easiest, but you'll need alot to get a good even coverage on the headlining. If you want to wrap it then don't use spray adhesive you will be wearing a hat, I know from experience. (http://www.celica-club.co.uk/forum/index.php?/topic/124847-ltas-st205-wrc-gt-four-resprayed/page__st__300) Search ebay for high temp contact/trim adhesive, not a spray but a paste and you'll be fine with that.
