  1. Sorry to hear about this mate, I have accumulated a couple on mine this year too, and luckily I didnt catch who done it! I speak to my car too, is it not normal ? if not then ill see you in the nut house.
  2. Best advise I can give on this is Youtube and google are your best friend, done some minor paint repairs myself after doing about 4-5 hours of studying and watching video's, I watched everything from fixing holes in boat's using fibre glass, filler and primer, to repairs motorcycle fairing, and you really do pick up alot of knowledge! Just patience and alot of focus and you will be fine, if it goes wrong dont panic, you can always sand it down and start again Its really one of them that experience really is what makes you good at it, so you just have to get on with it really and learn from mistake's It will be interesting to see your work too so be sure to get some piccies up
  3. Have the same on mine. was like it when I bought it and imagine its been forced off. Unfortunatley, abit of plastic repairs or a new rear plastic panel to sort that right
  4. That must have been one ripped rabbit :S, sorry to see the damage though mate, always a bummer :/
  5. Could maybe wait until next year in the summer, so say another ace cafe meet ? Could make it 2 in one, its a meet and its the clubs birthday! Being summer more people come out and as the last ace cafe went well from what I read, I am sure you would get a big show
  6. I cant seem to find the post, but a while back someone found a website that do anodised bolts / screws in any colour you want and any size, they look pretty smart! I cant find the post and cant remember the company's name, is anyone able to refresh my memory ?
  7. We should have a CCUK birthday party when it reaches 10 years!
  8. Someone threw fireworks at your car and you didnt chase them down and hurt them
  9. Let me know if you find a good online place that makes up paint in rattle cans, gonna have a pop at some body work myself
  10. Haha, be better then looking at Fiesta's lol!
  11. I thought this myself, is someone trying to wind us up ? haha
  12. Too right they do, otherwise then the stuff roles out the bags and falls into the bit at the back of the boot and rolls around. for a 4 door though, you could look at the Seat Leon Cupra R ? Pretty quick, buckets of torque and come with a 17psi turbo standard
  13. Could always put it in a shopping bag and attach it to the hooks in the boot, it wont slide around or distract you from driving either xD
  14. I am so jealous, I wish I had the time, space and money to fully restore an old celica.
  15. I think some insurances will wack you for it. I am with Sky, and aslong as it doesnt add any BHP they only charge you an admin fee and dont touch your premium.
  16. Looking good mate! I do prefer the orginal T sport alloys, although wouldnt say no to a set of GT's! Just needs lowering now mate!
  17. For me handling first, then power. Hoping to import the whole tanabe brace set soon. I have a seperate saving pile for my se7en supercharge, but gonna wait till I am 25 for that so the insurance isnt too harsh on me lol.
  18. Do'h! Ohhwell some extra information for him if he decides to take that route too lol.
  19. I just soldered on new blue LED's behined my display bit rather then using a film. If memory serves me right its 12 SMT's for the petrol / Mileage guage on a Gen7. I did Kris silver's for him too, its a very fiddley pain in the arse job that guarentee's you some burnt fingers. Looks good though when done so worth the pain!
  20. Yeh I had a good play about with it, and one LED just didnt work either way round, in either socket, when the other worked fine, Just a shame it took three popped fuses for the dodgy LED to show itself :/ New LED's turned up today anyway, fitted and now working fine, plus I have one working spare. Glad its just an LED popped, and that eBay exists, got some for £4 delivered instead of the £17 Halfords wanted hehe.
  21. Not even if the LED was dodgy ? I have a feeling the metal connectors on the led might have bent across and cause a short :S The LED in the piccie does not work at all, the other LED is fine though :S
  22. The little bugger below popped 2 of my fuses before going itself, just wanted to confirm that this is a 501 like they have on Amazon LINK And would these be ok with the standard fuses ? Dont want to keep popping them!
  23. So is this all aftermarket ? or were they designed like that on purpose ? if it was chopped to look like that then its sad to see a ruined 22 imo
