  1. Most paint shops can match colours, Know a few places here
  2. Does look tidy, put it in autotrader and see what u get, start at 1600 I guess
  3. The celica can take the high miles - im on 173,000 miles - have done over 40k in the last year and never missed a beat in the 153,000 miles ive been driving it - keep an eye on your oil is my only advice
  4. I use mine for lugging parts around - can get quite a lot in it. Maybe take out your rear seats too. My cars on lpg so makes running it very cheap, conversion isnt cheap but well worth it if your planning on keeping the car and doing 25,000 mile a year+
  5. Try bigb! Just kidding, Planc works for Toyota I believe
  6. why didnt they just wash it off with a good detergent? no need to use degreaser to get oil off paint - unless its white!
  7. Drive a rear wheel drive car with cheap tyres and you will really notice it, FWD is a little more forgiving but it still makes a huge difference. I used to think that their was no difference in tyres until Id driven a car on the F1s - you can throw the car around like anything - but they dont last long - really depends on how you drive - if you dont boot into corners you dont really stress the tyres
  8. Only thing that comes close to the F1s are the Michelin Pilot or the Pirelli P-zero
  9. Gen7 - 172,000 miles and now burning oil - but no smoke/leaks or loss of power
  10. check the dimensions before you order! Sounds correct though
  11. check the size but: http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/40x-Toyota-Bumper-Trim-Push-Rivet-Splash-Guard-Clips-/320717591788?pt=UK_CarsParts_Vehicles_CarParts_SM&hash=item4aac4214ec
  12. did you get a descent price for it in the end mate? Think its worse having it down the street - as when you see it you'll think why did I sell it! On the flip side - couple of years time - you might be able to run it again and maybe it will become available!
  13. only time you should use k-seal/rad weld is if your running a £200 car and just want a quick fix to keep you going for a couple of months
  14. but as you say in your advert gaz - no offers - why do people still try it - and try £700 less - if you said ono - then you can understand but think some people have too much time on their hands...if you dont like the price - why waste your time and their own!
  15. I turned 17 at the end of november 96, knowing that the licence rules were changing (I wanted to be able to drive up to 7,5 tonne vans) - I booked my test for 22nd December, what happens - it snows - next available date - 10th January or something - passed in Jan as well - so now can only drive upto 3.5 tonne!
  16. most are about 15 years old - so gonna happen at some point and most at the stage now where your non-enthusaist driver will be like meh - not worth repairing
  17. looks quite tidy - any rust on doors / arches?
  18. Agreed - like I found on one of the blown pre-facelift 140s I had in recently that had a leaking oil filter!
  19. saw one of these on the road last week: http://www.lotuscars.com/en/lotus-evora very nice
  20. Blimey - Im always getting dirt, oil, etc in my eyes, i usually use goggles when using a grinder but think ill use them a bit more now, hope they can find a way of sorting for you mate.
