Ive search ebay and you get loads of nasty universal ones, I want some that protect the seats but still look good and fit snuggly over the seats. I think its the set Viet had that I was interested in. I may try my local Toyota see how much they are.

Hi all, Does anyone know of or recommend a set of front seat covers that best fit the Celica Seats especially the Gen 7 Seats? My Celica is a daily driver and Im slowly ruining my Alcantara seats so I need something to protect them from wear and tear. Thanks

Ive been thinkin the same as you matey, Im after more power but I just love Celicas too much to sell it and Ive spent far too much modifing my GT to the point it is now. I would never get any of the money back. As JO3 said Im in this for the long run now, Ill get rid of my Celica when I cant afford to run her or she dies. Im even hoping in the future that my Celi will be a weekend warrior tucked away until the sun shines. Depends on what you wanna do. SC Celicas are scooby killers and puts over motorists in shock over how quick they are but you will never make the money back. Where as you can get something quick from standard and people will expect it to be quick.

Hmm, Im finding 2nd to 3rd and also reverse a bit tough recently. Weighted/taller gear knob does look good but doesnt that unwrite the benefits of the short shifter???

Is it bad that I would find that quite interesting lol. I know Toyota Stafford had one of the last celicas registered. It was a Thunder Grey GT on an 56 plate but registered in 2007 just before March. It had about 8k miles on the clock and owned by someone who worked at Toyota. They wanted £13,000 for it at the time and I was so close to buying it. It was about a year or less before I bought my GT. I know my GT was registered late September 2006. Also wernt the GTs all made in 2005 but stored in a warehouse until sold. Im so sad I know lol

I was gonna say didnt anyone notice the 140 rev counter in the pictures lol. If I travelled a long distance for a 190 and it turned out to be a 140 Id be fuming. Especially if you didnt know Celicas and you bought it thinking it was a 190, how pissed would you be? People who just dont get the difference piss me off.

Yeah it was at Furbers just outside whitchurch. There is so many cars there! Tis a shame to watch it rot, cant it at least be sent to a jap scrappy where it may get taken apart better and sold to the right person.

I was browsing a scrappy near Whitchurch in Shropshire and found this Its only the NA one but I dont care this car does not belong here Some please go pick it up and give it to a proper home. In the same scrap yard I also found 2 Gen 5s, 1 Mk2 MR2 and a RX7 It does make me sad when I see nice perfomance cars sat in a yard rusting to death. Its not pretty

You missed out that the Gen 6 has rust problems with the wheel arches and door sills. Ive had 2 gen 7s both have never had MAF problems, lift bolts and oil consumption are only an issue on the prefacelifts and none of my interior plastics have ever faded. Next time you want slag off the 7s do a bit a research first fella! Im sick of the bitching between 7 and 6s. The Gen 7 guys never slag off the gen 6 owners but the gen 6 owners are more than happy to rip into us. Were supposed to be an owners club, why is all the slaggin off going on.

I only use my handbrake, im very forgetful and will most likley forget the cars in gear and smash it into the garage lol. My drive slopes up to the house and have only used the handbrake for years and its never gone wrong so far (touch wood)

Ive seen mint examples of Gen 1 Celicas go for over £5000+ but I couldnt give an exact value. So I couldnt help much but I had to post just so I could say how stunning his Celica was.

Buy a gt4 and show them whos boss lol, or just borrow edwardio's supercharged seven. He lives in kent I think and his car will spank theirs into next week.

Me mate had a Gen 6 GT and the Gen6 is quicker accelerating due to more torque but then the Gen 7 catches up after a distance. The gen7 isnt very easy to tune due to the rubbish ECU also is very expensive to moddify aswell as Ive learned.

If you paint them black they would blend into the dark wheel arch. Do them red to complement the red in the TRD decals
