  1. Most spray places can mix them up for you, dunno if they will be cheaper or not, just rig around and ask. Think you can also get them online but you run the risk of it being totally the wrong colour
  2. I just used to take the air bag light out of the dash, cheap, quick and free
  3. Well SJ has a similar wrap flip but in CF look, why not ask him or Ray (RT Performance) how much but I'd say it's probably closer if not over the £2k mark
  4. Depends what you want and what material is used as it can cost from about £500 upto about £2000+ Obviously the cheap one will probably use crap wrap that will peel and fade very quickly
  5. I'd say given the current market it's probably worth around £2750-3250, I know in reality it's probably worth closer to £4000 but but performance cars are just not holding value at all anymore What you looking at changing it to?
  6. I thought mirror finishes like that on a full wrap was illegal due to the sun glare you get off it
  7. Well you know in back to the future 2 when doc comes back to get Marty to take him to the future because his kids are little shits, and when they get in the car and doc reverses backwards and Marty tell doc he needs to go back more cos he won't have enough road to get upto 88mph and doc says "roads? Where we are going we don't need roads!" and the cars wheels fold in and he takes off......... It's nothing like that
  8. Now I drive an altera XL for work which is basically a more spacious Leon and the inside feels no better built than my gen6, just as much plastic, the hand break is on the wrong side too which seems to be a common thing on cars now days that are originally designed for left hand drive Don't get me wrong it's a lovely car to drive and I do think new Seats look very pretty but they are not built any better than the Toyota and they are far more un reliable apparently, Toyota finish 2 beaten by Honda in 1st where as vw/Audi/Seat at the wrong end of 10 and up I can't speak for the 7 as I haven't owned one, maybe they cheaped out inside them but, you also have to factor in they are two totally different machines. But end of the day it's what makes the driver happy.
  9. Oh sorry I miss read what you put lol I believe only the dealer can say when it's registered unless its imported and Dvla screw up. But like you say it usually says on the log book. You can probably do a HPI check and it will say when it was registered over seas then when it was registered here.
  10. The information on the vin tell when it was made I believe, might be wrong tho
  11. That's a shame guess the celica is not for everyone Now about them wheels......... Check your pm
  12. Could have had a bumper change at some point. I have heard of import cars getting plates way above their year of manufacture, it's the Dvla getting it wrong with first registration and year of import
  13. Usually this happens when a car sits on a main dealers forecourt unregistered and finally when they sell it they register it as a new car because basically it is so it gets given a ......... (put year in) plate. Don't think it matters what year it's made it's what year it's registered that counts
  14. That that would imply my 13th car will be another Celica lol
  15. I'm on my 12th car since joining just over 4 years ago only my 4th Celica tho hehe
  16. Well jay (funkysr) I think if memory servese well when he boosted his 7a-fe he had his at about 9Psi on a t25 set up which sore him iirc 170ish bhp and I don't think his engine let go because of that either and his engine had like 220,000 miles on the clock
  17. B a 205 conversion would be easier but it will cost more in the ling run and I might as well just go down the buying a GT4 but I wanna be different and make a project where at the end I can say I did that, I didn't just buy it out of a pre tinned product I have put a lot of thought into doing it, I was tempted last time I had a Celica but that turned into a dog of a car so I didn't bother, now it seems I have a pretty decent Celica (touch wood) and the Celica is only a second car then I'm thinking why the hell not. Just wanted to see if it's worth getting the ct26 as I don't want to run high boost, probably not a lot more than 10psi
  18. Br ok on my 3s-ge? Planning to do a low pressure turbo conversion on my car, something iv planned for years and this time I'm gonna try and go ahead with it. Seen on eBay I can get a ct26 for quite good money on eBay but as I don't really want me than about 220bhp as I don't want to mess about with the insides too much is it going to be an ideal turbo to use?
  19. Happy Anniversary Dan23!

  20. you want bragging rights, then own a gen 1-3 thats still road legal bet thats less than 788
  21. You have to drive the gen6 hard to get the most out of them, they are high revving engines, so live life about 5k rpm and you get the grunt, live life belowe that and tbh it ain't a "fast" car, and seeing as a slipping clutch usually affects hard driving, there will probably be your issue
  22. prbably bit expensive and probably still chip away eventually
