As some of you may known, just sprayed my riser blocks met grey , do I HAVE to laquer them , not being lazy , or run out of paint , but I like the satin look of the un lacquered paint , and don't want them to be all shiney shiney

Never considered a celica , wanted a boys toy , wife has the family car so something old , classic , started looking for a big bumper mk2 golf gti , but it had to be white , 3 door , 16valve etc , and the ones I wanted were too much , looked at mk1 golf verts , old Skool fords , but all still to high , the my boss had mk3 supra just rotting away in the drive , offered her money , wasn't interested , then a gen 4 came up on eBay with 8 hours to go , bid , went to sleep , woke up and I had won it In 2 years the 4 had lots of new parts fitted to keep it running , but the rot was to much to handle , sold it with a few months mot to a tosser who blew it up Replaced the 4 with my first 5 (olive) , came up on here for 100 no mot , bought it and it was ...... Poss the best car I ever bought , build thread on here somewhere ,after 2 years and about 2k put in to it , she ended up having a wobbly and bottom end went The replacement for olive was dufus , another gen 5 , was supposed to be a temp car till olive was fixed , but started taking the nice bits off olive and by the time I had finished there wasn't much of olive left , olive now sits in the drive , very stripped , dufus sits in the drive ready to be donated to my brother in law for his college project The faff , can't really complain , only had it 3 weeks , can trace the past 3 owners thru ccuk and gt4oc , so it's better than service history , just started to put my personal stamp on it , still can't make up my mind on the looks , well I can , the front end is ugly as fook , but really , really impressed with the rest of the car , if ever you get a chance to own one do it , you will love it

My faff , nothing more than a work horse , Monday and Friday , about 100 stops around customers , tues /wed into town , or school run (yes faffs ARE family cars ) Thursday office blat , weekends shopping I could save a fortune if I used a yaris , but comon , where is the fun in that ?

A stainless battery cover for a s14 , gonna have to fettle with it to fit , but bling is a good thing

Is that the one I was looking at ? In Gloucester , or is the abundance of c/s's in that colour Oh an in the words of shaggy ..........

No just a pikey bastard that sifts thru the bargain bins Found the right alpine iso lead for my stereo in there as well , was on my hands and knees for 15 mins going thru 3 bins of them , retail 16 quid , I paid 50p

Had one for a couple of years on my 5 , never had an issue , on the green one I had a silicon pipe joining the end of the filter to the oem air feed , so couldn't hear it , just gave me some carbon bling

You REALLY need a c/s front bumper , actually would be better if you could find an jdm r/c bumper , and it would be really cool if you could find an r/c bumper with jdm yellow fog lights fitted in the side grills and gen 6 spats Hmmmmm

Tbh Look crap on my old grey 183 , but on the black faff I like it , it's just I want bronze not poo brown lol

I want to refurb and fit my team dynamics that came with the faff , and bronze is the 'in' colour , had a can of ford roman bronze kicking around , wasn't sure on final colour till i done a whole wheel The rim itself hasn't even been cleaned , it was just a flick over to see if the colour was a good un or not I know real bronze rims are anodised not sprayed , but its as close as I can get it , opinions ?

Have are cars , no matter what colour , been factory laquered Both my 5s were metallic so had been laquered , but the faff is astral black I know my neighbours old gen 6 was red and was laquered Just got to respray the front bumper and I want to get it right
