25th Anniversary Posted August 3, 2015 Report Share Posted August 3, 2015 Hi all Im doing a 3sge beams conversion into my 1.8st celica soonish, but for the conversion to work, i need to use the beams speedo as it has special connections/wires etc (so my original 1.8st speedo/clocks wont work). Any ideas how to match the mileage from one to the other? (Car has been sorned for 4 years so mileage must be spot on tbh). Can the mileage dials section be swapped over? I know clocking is illegal but are there other options that can help with my problem? Ive tried sourcing similar mileage clocks but still out. SKINY Posted August 3, 2015 Report Share Posted August 3, 2015 you can take the number reel out and disassemble it, there's a load of wee cogs and wheels and its a bit fidly. The thread ibseen it on was on the gt4dc but i cant mind who, think it was a rather nice white Cs. I'm going to try it when i swap mine from the jap to uk.
