sadlebag
Does anyone know if you leave the battery disconnected for to long, does the ecu forget the map?
dublet
I doubt it, it should be stored on an EEPROM.
ScottChester
A dubs said its not reliant on a constant power source. The map is 'written' to memory
tombrady
No it doesn't mate, I asked my mapper the same thing.
sadlebag
Alright what about the boost controller?
_Chris_
The ECU will remember the map, I think it forgets the 'learnt parameters' such as idle etc. as per standard ECU. No idea on boost controller, but I would expect a decent one to retain it's memory - especially if it doesn't hsvr s permanent live feed.
