ams
So im looking to buy a small sand blaster - mainly to strip down wheels - not going to do lots - so don't need a full pro setup, any recommendations on sand blasters and what type of blast to use? Thanks
Cleario
I have a small Clarke sand plaster, ideal for stripping paint and small bits if rust off things. Only downside i only have a 50L compressor in the garage so it runs out very fast but I'm guessing you got a better compressor than that lol. I paid £70 2nd hand off Gumtree
ams
Yeah have a huge compressor - way bigger than what I need - it was enough to pressurise a spray booth and run a paint gun continuously! What blast do you use?
Cleario
I don't really know to be totally honest, I got given a bag of the stuff with the blaster. It just says walnut shell on the side written in marker?
Insanity-74
You can pick up walnut she'll pretty cheaply, or aluminium oxide. I would invest in a small blast cabinet too, saves on dust and helps to recover most of the medium for reuse.
celicamojo
from what I have been reading, there should have been enough Saharan sand down there to strip everything clean!
