daytona
I wouldn't use them just because of their misleading advert, same as I won't be using the Delboy kn*bhead that fitted my tyres again. I am highly allergic to B.Shit

Akuma77
nurse amy has recommended a very good place to use so i wont be eliminating them from my enquiries but will still look around as well. FCM Motorsport was recommended plus we get a 10% discount
Akuma77
millers came back to me after I sent them another email : So for the 4 wheel alignment your website states the following : FITTING SERVICES WE OFFER: Standard tyre fitting steel/alloy up to 24". (wheels cleaned after free of charge) Latest computerised 4 wheel alignment technology, fully checked and adjusted for £25 inclusive. ? Specialists in 4x4 fitting, winter tyres, runflat tyres. A wide range of tyres available from stock and fitted same day. With harder to get/rare tyres available next day. Clean, comfortable reception/waiting area with TV and free Wi-Fi. Now does this mean the 25.00 inclusive means only the front wheels are aligned and not the rear wheels? or is your advert a little bit not correct on the website and also you’ve given me a price including Vat for the 60.00 (which is a pretty good price whereas there are specialist areas out there that want to charge a lot more money they replied : yes sorry for the confusion, our web page is being changed at the moment, we have recently changed our equipment for a laser tracking system to a 3D wheel alignment system which is far more accurate, the info on the web page was for our old system, the charges are now as follows and this will hopefully be showing on the web page by tomorrow: Front wheel alignment check and adjust £30 Inc VAT Four wheel alignment check and adjust £60 Inc VAT I know some places are charging up to £120 for the full four wheel alignment, we don't feel that is fair so we have priced accordingly. only trouble is im thinking bristol is way out of my area for this , i know nurse amy and matt live in portmouth so they are much closer than i am but im waiting on the quotes from FCM Motorsport anyways.. daytona
excellent! Another level of confusion. Just when I thought laser was cool now we have 3D. Do we have to drive funny glasses? Whats the difference, serious Q, between laser and 3D? PS Newbury center of universe compared to down here mate! Akuma77
phoned the fella today and ordered 4 x falken ze914s in 215/45/17 for 327 quid including tracking (but i think i will leave the tracking for now i will just get the new tyres put on the car wait a month or so and keep monitoring the tyres and if i need a full geometry check i will take it straight down to FCM Motorsport...get lee to do it down there , if they track it after the tyres im worried they may put something out so wouldnt it be better to leave it till then? Akuma77
ok guys , its done now , yesterday ive had 4 x falken ze914s fitted to the car for £327 for all four , so it worked out at £68 per tyre and i have 215s now , so far ive noticed they are much quieter and i dont have the drone of the wheel bearing sound and they do seem very good .so brake upgrade will be next on the cards ..followed next year a drop on the suspension to accomadate the new tyre size Edited July 7, 2013 by celica1977

Akuma77
well today was the first time the new tyres got there handling in the wet , they are very good even when you hit places of water they just glide through it , no wheelbearing type noise and feel much better and more comfortable tyres.
