Prices for gen 5 gt4s are low , izzzys very good nick cs only hit about 1600 !! And that was 4 times the car you are looking at , price wise it's about bob on , good running gear , shit paint

It's an import so rust should be minimal , but worth checking , as for oily bit usual look for smoke and annoying knock

Ad says it's over polished, so it's likely to turn white (base coat colour) if you polish it again.

yeah the paint is shocking. prices might be reasonable for a decent 185 but finding one up here is impossible thats why im thinking of travelling down to essex for one

My gen 5 was that colour when I bought it, with claybar and t-cut red polish the colour came back really well

Its a red polish - just under the t-cut brand -hope that makes sense

Perfect sense, I was referring to the "over-polished" in the ad. Polishing is fine, mopping or cutting however is different story

A good shiny red car can look awesome, I loved my red ST182. But the Toyota red simply doesn't last long.

There's a lovely red Carlos Sainz for sale but I didn't risk the red again and that was in a good condition.
