J03
Delivery charge was £11.50 for 4 tyres & that's just over a year ago now. Fitting is usually about £10 a corner I think.

sr666
You were looking at All Season tyres mate that's why the answers were restricted For 215 40 17 there's these http://www.camskill.co.uk/m54b0s103p0/Car_Tyres_-_MPV_Tyres_-_People_Carrier_Tyres_-_17%5C_inch_R17_inch_-_215_40_17_215_40R17 Or 205 http://www.camskill.co.uk/m54b0s457p0/Car_Tyres_-_MPV_Tyres_-_People_Carrier_Tyres_-_17%5C_inch_R17_inch_-_205_45_17_205_45R17 The Avon's are only 73 quid each in that size too 205/45/17 iirc is the standard tyre size Kev 16v will be able to confirm mate Fair enough that strikes me as odd especially when the gen 6 GT had 205's on a 15 inch wheel is why I said lol
Akuma77
cheers for that mate , well ive had a look and for the avon 773's that i currently have will cost : 2 x avon 773 (205 x 45 x 17 ) 88w £153 including the P+P So i would just find out how much it would cost for a centre to fit the tyres I was quoted £91 fitted for the same tyre but im sure if i went and got quotes maybe they maybe slightly cheaper and might work out cheaper than buying online. Chris H72
I have kumho ku39's on the rear and they feel really good. Won't hesitate to put some on the front when the time comes. Black circles have them.. http://www.blackcircles.com/order/tyres/search I think 80 quid fitted is pretty good. Actually a fiver cheaper than when I got them a couple of months ago. Akuma77
so these that you have one the tsport : http://www.tyrereviews.co.uk/Tyre/Kumho/Ecsta-KU39.htm how do they fare in wet etc
Chris H72
They're the ones. Absolutely brilliant in the wet and let's face it we've had plenty of rain to test them out! The rear feels rock solid in corners so very reassuring. I have heard that the kumhos are not as good in the summer when the weather is warmer but to be honest we don't get much of a summer nowadays so it's all good. Akuma77
when youve been driving with budget tyres (which are dangerous) then i guess does it really matter which tyres you get lol now those again i will get checked with prices at my local tyre fitting centres to see how much they can do for all fitted if i was to get them at their establishment
Chris H72
I had two different brands of budgets on the front when I bought my car in September, one was new and the other about half tread. They would lose grip easily coming out of bends especially in the wet and once the wheels spun when I hit lift in 2nd which was quite scary. The back tyres were good, conti sport 2's with decent tread so I moved them to the front and bought the kumhos for the rear and it feels so much better. Some of those reviews say that the kumhos slide in the wet but I've had no problems so far although I never really push the car to its limits. Hard to imagine how fast you would be cornering to lose it but I guess some people drive like idiots.
Akuma77
very true mate , yep i did see the reviews for the ones down to the KU39 for these : http://www.tyrerevie.../Ecsta-KU31.htm well the first review sounded really good and then others had tyre wall problems but i was under the inpression that kumho did some good tyres I dont really wanna spend £200 on two tyres with fitment really and there only £50 a piece : http://www.camskill....5R17_88W_XL_TL_ So would they be any good as well?
