Kev 16v
Difficult question, as tyre weights vary quite a lot.
Briano
all i can tell you is chronos are heavy & run flats are heavy each corner on my car is about 15kg at least. when i took a gen 7 16 of recently i nearly flung it over my shoulder
paulgtt
stock faff 3 spoke weighs 10kg with no tyre. same wheel with a 225 40 16 tyre on is quite a bit lighter than an Enkei RP01 with a 225 50 16 tyre and the enkeis aren't exactly heavy. sadlebag
Yeah with the tyre my chronos are 19kg. Wish I weighed my old stock alloys with tyres now. 10kg for stock 16's I remember them old 3 spoke 17's I had before weighed 8.4kg.
paulgtt
tyres don't weigh that much!! unless its off a hgv a 16" tyre of 225 width is around 5kg
Briano
Yours tyres will prob weigh over 15kg each on there own without rim worth every KG though as i dont need a jack, spare, or tools in my boot so probably saving 15kg at least and I dont need to worry as much about blowouts, also dont let anyone scare you about runflats.....my last set the o/s rear had a puncture for over a year and still drove fine, just made a different road noise when it was going down. Lowest i ever seen it was 6 psi and was still solid as for the GT4 stock rims I just bought pauls old ones and can vouch for how light they are, I have been carrying 2 at a time around my garage

Briano
So who makes a nice light 16 or 17 inch wheel? toyota do in the standard 3 spokes the oz super turismos are a fair bit lighter too, I picked up a set of 17's on monday and they are near enoguh half the weight of the chronos, granted they dont look as good but if weight is your game and all
