Black Knight
Any one found a passable colour match paint for the blurple 6’s? Preferably something anti rust like Hamerite? Mum’s got a few rust patches in the compulsory places that need touching up, bottom of doors, wheel arches and a rather more obvious one in the lower corner of the windscreen thanks to a shoddy glass change at some point in the cars past  Doesn’t have to be a perfect match as apart from windscreen it’s all hidden unless you’re under the car. But something that blends in enough to pass casual inspection would be nice
arizona
Cant think of any hammerite that would match without just looking like a bad match Maybe look at humbrol paints from a model shop? Might be a better colour choice there Edited October 24, 2012 by arizona
shaungt4
Agree with Arizona on the paint. Rustproof it first then paint
Adex
Wouldn't use a Humbrol brush though, you might be there a while.....
Black Knight
Model paint hey, never would have thought of that Is that stuff good for use on cars?
Adex
Well there's a lot of different types even within Humbrol's range but enamel paint should see you right. Don't forget to thin it slightly or you'll end up with evil brush marks of death amateurishness! You might even be able to get your desired colour in an aerosol if you're lucky.
