Monkey Boy 1 Posted March 30, 2012 Report Share Posted March 30, 2012 What a few guys at work use is Velcro, the heavy duty industrial stuff for a standard type of numberplate. Especially those that own / drive a Mk1 Elise. The cost of a number plate replacement is a damn sight less that a repair to a front clamshell. A few have the flexi stick-on adhesive ones which stick onto the upper surface of the bumper, but have come to grief with some jobsworth MOT testers and one had been pulled by Mr Plod for niot having a reflective plate.
