Alan Clogwyn
I know a whgile back Weitec suspension was all the rage on here - so how has it proved for those that did fit it? Only asking because yesterday I was tasked with fitting a Weitec kit to a mates Leon, he bought it secondhand but it was only a month old if that (everything looked pristine apart from a couple of fitting marks) BUT the rear shocks were well and tuly goosed! Didn't fit the rears, but am kind of worried how long the fronts are actually going to last!
rpsmith79
I have Weitec springs (don't think they made and dampers for the 5) and they are still as good today as when i fitted them 3 years ago, so no complaints from me about the springs
Zuban
weitec is a cheaper brand of kw i think, they are german so i'd hope have good quality control, the kw coilovers i had were very very good indeed.
Alistair_GT
I have Weitec coilovers on my Ibiza - they were a year old when I bought them and I've had no issues with them at all. Sounds like your mate is just unlucky... They are not up to the quality of the Tein coilies I have on the celi but at less than half the price it's understandable. You get what you pay for after all...
minx's celica
I've had them and good quality for the money. Handles nicely too.
