docman
As I recall, Which? looked at them and found Bosch the best (not available currently) then Osram, then Philips a poor third. Please correct me if I'm wrong as it's not in front of me.

rpsmith79
Yeah, they can be had a hell of a lot cheaper on ebay than from a shop, as anyone who has had a Gen 5 will know how bad the headlights are (like having 2 candles stuck to your bonnet), but i can actually see where i'm going at night now
hawker
I just bought a pair of these Orsam H1's for my Mazda 6 main beam from that very same seller. (arrived yesterday) I'll be fitting them as soon as my LED sidelights arrive (from Hong Kong) so I can do them both in one go as I need to remove the airbox to change bulbs on the passenger side! I'll let you know my findings. Philips X-Tremes are very good. They now do a +100% version of these. I put X-Tremes +80%'s in the missus' old car, and found these to be very good, so I would imagine the +100%'s are excellent. wintersun
Bought and fitted a pair of Osram Night breakers last night. WOW what a difference, they really produce a crisp white light. They seem to really work well with the projectors.
