  1. Happy 8 Anniversary wintersun!

  2. Thanks for cleaning up my thread. I came back to it and was a bit surprised at what was going on!
  3. my 1996 JDM GT4 was insured through Sky, was paying about £600 fully comp with 4 years NCB and I was 29.
  4. Think i'll always be a 205 driver. i do love the classic looks of the Gen 5 and love the pop up lights, propper sports car touch!! But I know the 205's inside out and I love the power and a few mods and I could easily increase it. But if I got for a 3rd GT4, think im going to look out for a late spec JDM like my old green one, even tho that was a 1996, it still had all the late spec upgrades, unless it was done by the previous owners.
  5. please don't wish I never got rid of it!!........ its in Poland now. But I will get another, but not sure weather a 205 or 185. I like the look of both, but always had Gen 6 Celica's, so a change could be good. But yeah I would miss the power from the ST205. Quite a few on ebay at the moment and some really good ones too, not the usual stuff. Would like to go for a UK spec ST205, but not many about. I know nothing about the engine in the 185, guessing quite similar to the 205? is turbo air cooled in the 185? Both look amazing next to each other. Love the rear end on the 6, but like the classic pop up headlights on the 5
  6. Think I need another GT4 in my life..... Would love another ST205 for sure, but I have been looking at the ST185 and im liking them a lot, but what are they like compared to the ST205?
  7. I know I know, just not paying £100 for them right now, maybe when I buy another GT4 or SSIII
  8. I was after the 4 tails lights more than anything, I can live with 3 brake lights. The loom has already had the fog light conversion done to it. So should just plug and play and wire the fog live in to the wire that's been added for the fog. I might reconnect the cut brake wire so that I have 4 brake lights as well as the 4 tail lights and then convert my 3rd high level brake light on the boot as the rear fog and put 21w bulb in there, don't this to my old GT4 and worked fine.
  9. oh lol, yeah I also have the standared rear cluster, just fitting a jdm loom to them so it has the twin side/brake lights.
  10. what you mean by common cluster? Is yours a UK Celica with a JDM rear loom?
  11. Just wondering if I plug a JDM rear light loom into my UK Celica, will it work? I am after the JDM light look, the twin tail light look. I dont really care if the rear fog dont work as I have plans for that later, but just initially need to know if the twin tail light will work with plug and play. thanks
  12. Received the new locking key £11.61 in total from Germany and it fits lol
  13. All fixed it was just a loose altinator belt just cracked off the lock nut on the altinator and tightened up the pivot bolt and now its all gooooood !!
  14. ok guys I have found the source of the squeel Aux/Alternator belt is sticking almost coming to a stop and the squeel is the belt rubbing on the pully. Or I should say pully rubbing on the belt. what could cause this? 1. crank engine and all is normal, revs normal, belts all moving normal. 2. turn steering wheel to put load on PAS pump and the Aux belt starts to go stiff and squeel around the altinator pully I think and the revs drop like its going to stall and the lights dim slightly when this is happening and the steering wheel feels notch when this is all happening. 3. stop turning the steering wheel and squeel stops and revs go back to normal. When actually driving about there is no squeel or notchyness form the steering wheel. But e.g; when parking in a space and or pulling out of one when the the steetring wheel is notchy and the belt squeels again. But its the Aux belt not the PAS belt. whats all this about? Aux belt does seem quite loose, i'll put up a video in a few mins. Is it loose or does this look about right? Also the pas belt is tight. Cant twist it and only pushes down about half a centimeter. video link http://vid266.photobucket.com/albums/ii250/mattcelicasr/IMG_1491_zps9n2akhru.mp4
  15. I have no idea, does say engine oil temp @ 62oC
  16. loved mine think standard is the new modded
  17. I will check at the weekend, how do i see if there are any in the joints? Will a new lambda help or clean old one? What else could cause the lambda to be on the limit?
  18. Decided to buy a new lock key from McGard, only worked out to be £11 inc international posting
  19. Brand new exhaust system down pipe to back box
  20. I'm just wondering If I need a new lambda sensor? My limit looks close?
  21. guess so its a 1998 on 132,000 miles, very clean and look after, just had a complete new exhaust system fitted.
