  1. Crank pulley nut

Sounds like you are doing all the right things, other than get Ed China around to help I think it will come down to more leverage as seen on wheeler dealers. So dependant on how much space you have under it you need a longer bar and constant pressure and it will eventually give.
  2. Pleased to say (all being well) that the Gen 6 convertible will be represented at Goodwood Soft Top Sunday - best get on with getting it out of its cover and getting it to sparkle again...as I said to wifey it may not be expensive but rarity is priceless 😃
  3. Dug the Vert out of its winter hibernation and to the MOT station....good news is it passed unlike last year! Albeit some advisories to keep me tinkering with it once the weather creeps up above 3 degrees. Being a biker also I have to say the trickle charger is a must have with the little road use in the past 4 months.
  4. Someone is having a bad day.......

Impressive how strong the celica is though! Pretty sure that wasn't one of the original factory crash tests Celicas were put through...
  5. Happy 1 Anniversary Aburgess!

  6. oops ive been caught on camera .....lol

Nice to see they're keeping an eye on it for you. Assume this is a celica only policy due to them being so special!!!
  7. Just taken all the rear brakes apart as it flunked the m.o.t on that and no rear fog light - weird thing is that it had mot when I got it although it's a jap import so doesn't have a rear fog light. Plus it was imported in 2000 so previous owner must have had a friendly mot station me thinks!
  8. Got the gen 6 vert on the road with the top down...yes there's stuff I need to do along the way but it's a rolling road resto!!...
  9. Who is the average Celica Owner?

No they tend to grow out!...step away from the pies guys lol
  10. PistonHeads Shed of the Week: Toyota Celica

Happy to have my gen 6 cabriolet on a classic car policy for the princely sum of just over a 100 quid fully comp. Not so much a shed would like to think its more of a nice summer house!..
  11. Who is the average Celica Owner?

Current vehicles are: Kia sportage - family mobile and 4 x4 if it all gets a bit white and iffy... Vauxhall corsa vxr - manual turbo go kart Suzuki gsxr1000 - the original mental sub 3 second 0 to 60 for sunny hot sticky Tarmac days Oh and the beautiful 90's ST202 cabriolet sadly one of only about 40 on the roads in the UK, feel like trying to make them an endangered species and making people have to find and adopt one!.. Demographic you've probably already done the Sherlock bit - yep mid 40's male working in the Finance Industry. As for celicas of all generations can't really pin anyone down to them, unlike Honda Jazz owners need I say more...
