  1. I've just got some Embossed Carbon plates from Demonplates. Not exactly cheap, around £48, but I figured I'll only buy them once so thought I'd get decent ones. I'm really impressed with them.
  2. Happy 5 Anniversary Shinogi!

  3. Happy 4 Anniversary Shinogi!

  4. I don't name my cars but my mate calls mine Vag. Last letters of the plate us VGN, it just reminds him of a vagina ;-)
  5. Happy Anniversary Shinogi!

  6. A few people in my old car club used it when their emissions were too high, it always dropped the emissions for the MOT so the emissions part does what it says.
  7. Happy Anniversary Shinogi!

  8. My original cheapies were Falkens and I didn't rate them at, didn't feel grippy enough in the wet and soon went back to the ZZ3s. Regarding the ZV3s, they are a different tyre and I do prefer the ZZ3.
  9. Sounds about right if its a proper full wheel track, you should get a print out if it is showing how much each wheel has been adjusted. I paid £20 for all 4 BUT it was a standard 2 wheel alignment and they then moved the lasers to the rear. I presume not as accurate for the rears but they said they should be spot on with his method.
  10. They did some research into this years ago and apparently, lighter colours are the hardest to see on the road with white being the worst. The darker the colour, the more chance of others at least catching a glimpse of you. It doesn't help though when they don't even look, class response though
  11. The Avon ZZ3 is the only tyre I go for and I've been running them for around 12 years. Had cheapies on the car when I bought it but left them on as they were new and they were crap compared. Got rid of the cheapies and got the Avons fitted and handling is a lot better. They are hard wearing and very grippy in the wet and dry. I definitely recommend them.
  12. I used to book a week off work for any MOT incase I needed to get some parts and fit them for a pass. I don't bother anymore, and just drop it off and it passes first time.
  13. To be honest mate, if he got arsey with you after asking a question, I wouldn't deal with him anyway.
  14. That's sorted that for me then, cheers Dude, Wifi it is
  15. Chris, may I ask what problems you are having? I presume when you phone connects to your handsfree, it won't connect to the OBDII? I have a headunit that handles handsfree so bluetooth is on all the time and automatically connects to my phone. How do you currently use your bluetooth handsfree with the sensor? I'm just trying to weigh up the odds between a cheap Bluetooth one or the wireless one someone posted the link to earlier.
  16. I'll check with them first mate, don't worry :xmas_cool: I'm no rush to sort it at the minute as it's always raining when I get time to do it, either that or it's freezing out there.
  17. I'm glad you've asked this question as I have the same. Mines slightly raised at the rear passenger side and when I wash the car, I can see it run along the rubber and then run into the raised area. My frame has also started to rust on the hinge on the same side My sunroof isn't crazed, it's still perfect but from the sounds of the posts above, I'll have to buy the whole unit to replace it
  18. How much? To swap a tyre? I order my new tyres online and have them fitted for £5 a wheel. Got talking with the guys there and they now beat the online price for my Avon ZZ3's so I order everything from there now. Honestly, some places over charge big time :xmas_sad:
  19. Happy Anniversary Shinogi!

  20. I tinted my windows ten years ago with excellent results with a DIY kit from ebay. The key is to wet the window with soapy water first and then get a sharp blade and scrape your windows as there are loads of little bits stuck to them that you can't see. as soon as you start sliding the blade down, you'll feel it hitting the little bits which would ruin your tints. Once you've done that, squirt more soapy water over them and apply your tint. Slide it around to your desired position and then start to squeeze out the air bubbles with a credit card and don't forget to tuck it down behind the door card. As mentioned above, it's better to remove it to make sure of a good job. Once it's all in position, cut it to shape. Job done!
  21. I've tried a cheaper brand once, never again, I lasted 2 weeks with them from new and got rid of them. Avon ZZ3's are my tyre of choice and I won't shift from them. Being using them for 9 years and they grip in in the wet and dry. I was using them on my last car which was quite powerful and I enjoyed losing the boy racers round corners as they had to brake to slow down and I carried on going which shows how grippy they are. I recommend them, I know they aren't on your list of two tyre types but they are worth considering.
  22. Not keen on how the Gen7's dash faces slightly away from the driver. I have a headunit with satnav and I can't see the top left part of the screen due to reflections from the window as the dash is slighlty turned away from the driver. Weird but apart from that, everything is perfect so far
