  1. Nice one Keef. Any more progress on your "install"? I'm going back to Corten Miller a week on Thursday to have my sub 3k tune tweaked now my clutch has bedded in nicely.
  2. It's about £80-100 cheaper if you refurb the rears rather than buying new ones. Just depends if you have the time and know how to do it. I've rebuilt two sets, its quite easy plus I wrote a guide in the sticky at the top of the Gen 7 section.
  3. Good luck, it will be interesting to see what your emissions are. Have you got last years emissions print out. If so post up both figures when you get them
  4. Nice one Paul, I don't blame you going for new calipers. Refurbing is cheaper but a lot more time consuming. Whereas your new ones will be plug and play
  5. Mani, you have to click on "buy online" then enter your registration and it comes up with various categories which you just click on. If you click on calipers, i think there is an "associated parts" button you can press which brings up the caliper recon kits, then just add them to your basket and go to check out. I think the prices shown are without VAT, but you will find out when you go to check out.
  6. My pleasure mate. Brakes international really are the dogs bollox for brake parts.
  7. Here's mine Sure looks the same, but I paid double that. Good find Joe.
  8. Balls, I just bought one from Opie oils not long ago. Not fitted yet, so I can take a few pics, measure it and get the codes to see if its the same.
  9. Well done Jason, my rear hard pipes are looking sorry for themselves, I've got some hammerite smooth to blather on them when I get a minute. I hope you are out enjoying her today, weather is great up here, 6degrees but dry and sunny
  10. ...and more stuff today: Believe it or not there are a pair of Hotchkiss competition 24mm front an rear anti-roll bars plus a pair of Hotchkiss adjustable rear camber arms in there, cheers Viet! Plus a pair of Silvatec bulbs from Cravo, thanks! Plus another shiny, shiny, shiny.......my Mocal thermostatic take off plate:
  11. I only use these guys: http://www.brakesint.co.uk/contact_rochdale.html click on the "buy online" and have a look. Prices are reasonable, delivery in 24hours, very good reputation. Basic caliper recon kit is about £20, new rear pistons are about a tenner, front a little more expensive, new bleed nipples are about £3.
  12. A few goodies arrived today... 1. New battery for key/alarm fob 2. Hoody's nob ring 3. 1/2"bsp to 1/8"npt reducer 4. New Freakyparts 22mm rear spacers which means my 6 month old 27mm spacers are up for sale. PM if interested.
  13. -One used but functional Fiesta complete o/s front strut -A new blow torch and gas cannister as my old one died -a set of seized bolt extractor sockets Now to tackle this broken coil spring on the missus's car and the last twatty 15mm bolt that has been refusing to budge!:
  14. These, old next to new: From here http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/2-Pure-White-28-SMD-LED-T10-W5W-501-194-168-Car-Side-Light-Sidelight-Bulb-12V-/220960629152?pt=UK_CarsParts_Vehicles_CarParts_SM&hash=item337247a1a0
  15. Cheers I took them off after work yesterday, literally took 10seconds per wheel. Then drove home on all the nice cleared tarmac roads, only to find I got stuck as soon as i turned onto my street as its a dirt road that never gets cleared 2minutes later i had refitted them, then rolled up my street with ease. They still look in great condition too. Would highly recommend as an emergency measure to get you out of a snowy, wheel spin nightmare. Certainly beats £400 for a set of snow tyres.
  16. These are the ones I have http://www.amazon.co.uk/AutoSock-AS_HP_685E-Winter-Traction-Size/dp/B001MS96FY/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1358927544&sr=8-1
  17. I'll come along for the laugh to watch you two thrash it out Are you still running those front ebc discs Tom?
  18. Yeah Paul scary stuff as I drove it back up the hill to my house with it banging all the way Luckily I can't see any damage to the brake pipe or abs wire, and the drop link came off a piece of piss, unlike the Celica ones LOL I drove home on the snow socks mostly tarmac now for about a mile and they look fine but I didn't get over 20mph as I can imagine they won't last long doing higher speeds over longer distances.
  19. Also, the missus rang me up crying 5 min after setting off at 6.45am to work, saying "my car is making a loud clunking noise". I asked her to pull over and check a few things but she couldn't see anything. I told her to leave it at the side of the road and I would collect it after work. Got it up on the stands in the garage to find this.... ...now shouldn't that springy bit be sat on top of that metal collar? LOL Turns out she has cracked a spring, god knows where the other half is. Just ordered a used complete strut from e bay for £33 delivered. Got the old one stripped down but just stuck on the last 15mm lower bolt which holds the strut to the hub. The fucker won't budge and is rounding off. So I've ordered another gas cylinder for my blow torch and the twat is getting super heated this weekend!
  20. LOL nearly correct there, it was under the camera and also as far as possible from the kids playground so they wouldn't be tempted to snowball my baby!
  21. Decided to brave the snow to work today and gave my snow socks a try. They did a bloody good job, I can't believe how well the car went up and down the snow covered hills on way to work and the up the steep driveway to the staff carpark. Of 60 staff, I was one of only 3 who made it into the car park, the other two were 4x4s. I was the first into the car park too so had a little play with the handbrake then took some pics: Supercharged celica is the master of snow!
  22. In the two track days I've done at Blyton I've only see one kit car drop one of its front struts and come grinding to a halt. No injuries and no damage to other vehicles. Plus two GT4s, one on each track day. Interestingly, in both cases I was hot on their tails when they spun out. I had plenty if time to stop for both though and again no injuries or damage. Blyton rocks as a track to learn on. I've never heard of Mallory but just had a quick look and it looks like a nice little circuit, it even smaller than Blyton. Only two hours from me so I'll be there. Don't you fancy an earlier one fella?
  23. Yeah your torque will probably kill me but it will be a bloody good laugh trying to keep up!
  24. Paul, its easier to just find someone's dials you like the look of and asked Mook to change it to suit your taste. At least he ll have the original on file and it will be easier for him to work on. I think munkey inspired mine but I changed all the colours and the font, the logo and the lift and redline section etc
