Mine failed the first time in 5 years, exhaust had rotted at silencer,but it was the original on a 2002 car, so no complaints! -

l had something similar on my front bumper and used the local Chips Away franchise, they did a cracking job on the driveway and a very reasonable price, might be worth getting a quote.

I took my black surround off, got a new number plate then drilled fixing holes through it that corresponded with the surround fixing holes, couple of sticky pads at either end of the plate keeps it in place on bumper.

Fond memories!! the Gen 4 was my first Celica way back, auto, pop up lights, red paintwork, it was the dogs doodahs, since then it's been a Gen 5, two Gen 6's and now the 7, but you never forget your first love

Have a look at the seatbelts, the label on them will give an indication to the build year.

Sent mine off Monday 10th Jan and got new V5 back yesterday, also sent a tax disc for a refund so we'll see how long that takes! -
