  1. his is why its perfect when your mrs has a GT4. I can build a real monster and keep hers as a fast road car with minimal engine mods and things like coilovers.
  2. You could make the green one into a very decent fast road car with some of the above mods transfererred over. But what about TSS ? Thought that was the whole reason for doing the work to the silver one ?
  3. Green is a super rare and lovely colour but then you think of the money and effort invested in the silver one. Not a easy choice to make
  4. If you have carbon its got to be the real thing - on exterior items anyway - as you can just tell a mile off its not real. Obviously thats my take on it - not everyone will agree
  5. That blue one is nice - was trying to find pics of it on google earlier
  6. Yeah it was bayside blue wasnt it - ill find a picture Obviuosly id not have the shopping list on it but other than that its nice
  7. Focus RS green with black mirrors , roof , spoiler
  8. Nissan Bayside blue Same as this http://www.pistonheads.com/classifieds/used-cars/nissan/skyline-r34/nissan-skyline-2-8-gtr-r34-twin-turbo-2dr-4wd-highly-modified/1110470
  9. The 1st one is a lovely car - i was going to buy this back in 09 and actually had a deposit on it but then i found my grey one literally 5 minutes down the road
  10. I think he will all round top bloke - but maybe a deposit is best way to secure but sometimes there can be pitfalls with members who have no morals When i was buying Erin a GT4 i had agreed to buy a black car off of a member on the GT4OC - sent him £400 deposit on the agreed terms that he would wait for my money to clear. I was very clear about this and that it was going to be around 6 - 8 weeks and he was fine with this. I had also agreed to pay full price and not tried to haggle. After 4 weeks he said he needed the cash - i re explained the deal we had struck. He said he had a buyer and that it had to go - i was not happy but simply asked for my deposit back. I got £100 he said he had dropped price by £300 for the sale and so i was loosing out as i had to stand his loss !!! Needless to say was not impressed - ended up with her yellow one and he seemed to dissapear with hs money despite trying to find him and recover more Live and learn
  11. Thor engineering probably know them quite well - put one into a old rwd celica
  12. There are always risks involved in running cars - especially rally reps that are coming upto 20 years old and cost £30K when new. But if you buy a good one - and the one in question is one of the best and cleanest around - then a lot of that risk is removed. Yes they dont give great mpg , they can be expensive if they break - but a good one will last if correctly maintained and a ST205 imo is the pinnacle of celica evolution. You will love it
  13. Again a lot of work involved but its a lot of ££££ for a fake
  14. Yeah i myself would go for that from those listed - i reckon a offer of £2K would get it Already has choice mods like HKS dump valve , Blitz exhaust and nice alloys
  15. No matter what car you have there will always be something better out there. Id never sell my 4 as other than a porsche 911 it has always been my dream car and when i worked at toyota and the 205 came out in 94 when i was 18 i always promised myself id have one. Ive had a 7 and it was a good car once id finished with it but whilst a more modern car inside they aint screwed together as well and for me the styling of the 6 looks as fresh today as it did when it came out where as the 7 despite being a good looking car looks more dated in some ways as angular styling seems to have gone out of fashion again. If we all thought same certainly be a boring place
  16. Stick these seats in - sorted http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Cobra-Misano-Lux-reclining-leather-bucket-seats-/271190028247?pt=UK_CarsParts_Vehicles_CarParts_SM&hash=item3f242f6fd7

  18. These are all the GT4's i can find on PH Ash's car that you know about http://www.pistonheads.com/classifieds/used-cars/toyota/celica/toyota-celica-gt4-1994-wrc/1238777 Yellow one http://www.pistonheads.com/classifieds/used-cars/toyota/celica/toyota-celica-gt-four-st-205-standard/1238957 silver one http://www.pistonheads.com/classifieds/used-cars/toyota/celica/toyota-celica-gt4-st205-1994-unmolested/1239077 Black one on CE28's http://www.pistonheads.com/classifieds/used-cars/toyota/celica/toyota-celica-gt4-genuine-wrc-model/1256330 silver one http://www.pistonheads.com/classifieds/used-cars/toyota/celica/toyota-celica-gt-four/1269658 white one http://www.pistonheads.com/classifieds/used-cars/toyota/celica/celica-gt4/270613 yellow one http://www.pistonheads.com/classifieds/used-cars/toyota/celica/toyota-celica-gt4-st205-300bhp/1258916 grey one http://www.pistonheads.com/classifieds/used-cars/toyota/celica/toyota-celica-gt4-2006/1213224 silver one thats way overpriced http://www.pistonheads.com/classifieds/used-cars/toyota/celica/celica-gt-4-final-revision-model--top-condition-last-of-the-turbo-4wd-rally-fugitives/795990 black one http://www.pistonheads.com/classifieds/used-cars/toyota/celica/toyota-celica-gt4-1995/1062936 silver one http://www.pistonheads.com/classifieds/used-cars/toyota/celica/toyota-celica-gt4/1184282 white one http://www.pistonheads.com/classifieds/used-cars/toyota/celica/toyota-celica-gt4/1186402
  19. The 2 above are the same car just with the wheels powdercoated a different colour But you probably was aware
  20. Yes it does have projector lights but i meant in overall appearence with the alloys , carbon touches ect. Now these might not be to everyones tastes but if i was after or had a white 205 thats how id want it to look. Yes projector lights are around £300 - usually more on here - but literally the difference between them & stock is like night and day. If anyone is wanting some there are some members on other forums from ireland who say they can source them for 300 euros. Obviously there is jimmy's , marks , ferdy's & toms to take inspiration from if you go white. Put up a wanted ad - not everyone will read this but if they know you want a white 205 then people who are considering selling will pipe up
  21. And this is what a set of clocks and touches like handbrake / gearknob and leather gaitors can make along with better seats And you could find one with recaros as standard ive not mentioned headlights in my list - my list refers to bits to brighten up the interior
  22. Yes the stock seats in the 6 are crap but for me the 7 ones are not much better and dont hold you properly during spirited driving. However the 7 is more modern inside but it is a generation on from the 6. The 6 has better materials and build inside but it is a ocean of black but it doesnt cost ££££ to sort out. Clocks from mook £90 Bit of hexis wrap for the dash bits - not that much Set of 2nd hand recaro or similar - max £500 subframes from nzkw on ebay £150 pair so whilst not exactly cheap its not going to cost thousands. Yes if you want mondo to add his magic it will add up but quality costs This is what you want to aim for with a white 205
  23. Looks nice but pricey compared to others http://www.autotrader.co.uk/classified/advert/201303306024493/sort/default/usedcars/model/celica/make/toyota/onesearchad/used/onesearchad/nearlynew/onesearchad/new/postcode/gu112en/page/1/keywords/gt4/radius/1500?logcode=p
