This is the stuff I use in winter https://www.amazon.co.uk/Prestone-Screen-Ready-Mixed-Seasons/dp/B075NKP623/ref=sr_1_13?keywords=screen+wash&qid=1575397894&sr=8-13
Has a antifreeze in which stops it freezing again when you use it. I also have there deicer too. It is the best stuff you can get and thats been tested too, not just my opinion.

Depends on the bearing but cheap ones tend to go every 60k or so in my experience.

Fitted new caliper at the weekend and gave her a nice bath. Then filled her with 99 octane fuel ready for the meet tomorrow

As 4 months have now passed, can we have something a bit easier to get this moving?
Agreed, if after 6 weeks the challenge has not been completed then I would assume it's too hard and to set a new challenge. Just stops the thread dying and noone participating

Nope never used one but looks decent enough. May get one and try it out. Worse case I just stick the original bolt back in

expect about 3-4 for a good job. but make sure you check out some of their work first

I use mine all round. Just got to remember to pay the extra 50p at car wash for the undercarriage option.
Someone on the forum recommended to use a lawn sprinkler under the car. Thats a damn good idea.
haha I just got vision of you being the guy in antman saying about the undercarrriage wash
There is a lot of good suggestions and ideas. Im keen to see if there is anything else people could or would add?

I get this on the TR which lives in a double garage.
I have to raise the rear end on wooden blocks, run the car in gear, and then stamp on the brake pedal to free the clutch plate.
ohhhh that sounds fun.... Never knew this would ever be an issue. Good to know. Thanks

That won't happen in a dry garage though, only outside in the damp. And I doubt holding the clutch depressed does it any good at all over time...probably weakens the springs in the pressure plate.
Agreed, All it would do it weaken the clutch, I have never heard or seen that happen so I would say its really unlikely to happen.

check your nuts... make sure your wheel nuts are torqued up to spec, wheels are balanced, tracked and tires at correct pressure

Possible to make it less nickable? Spray paint it red and yellow?
why red and yellow?
hybrid cars have more precious metals in due to they having to abide by strict emission standards, therefore they are the ones the thief's will target. to be honest if they can get under mine and take the cat i will take my hat off to them. You need a low profile jack and i believe I have a shield over it

Well Friday I changed my braided lines as one had split and bled the brakes with help from @taylorad89 and today I refitted the front lip with the new tie rod bars to stop it getting droopy.

What car is it? What model and gen?
-
Where is the factory sub? Didn't think the gen 7 had one?

20 min job bud. I spliced into the cig lighter and ran cable behind dash, up the a Piller and above the roof lining. No need to drill any holes. The only tools you need are for splicing into the wiring.
-
Google / search is your friend! BTW I just realised you have a gen 6. I thought you were refering to a gen 7. Thats my fault for not reading it properly. You would probably got a better answer if you posted in the gen 6 section.

@taylorad89 has these on both his celica and mr2

They are pretty good but have gone up in price since I got him his

One pre car and one post cat. They are different sensors if I remember correctly. Only get denso sensors. Don’t ever get cheat ones or universal. Save the money of having to keep changing them and get the decent sensor to begin with.

Hi I am doing disk and brake up grade on my Celica st 20 and I asked advice from freaky parts they do a lot of brake conversion kits or parts and they advised me to have grooved they favour this as to drilled reason that drilled may after time show some cracking only small surface but groves don’t do this and groves will give better long life so I went for groves only. I feel they know what they are talking about and they were very helpful the website is freakyparts.co.uk tel 07977 503430 hope this helps
Thats correct grooved and dimpled is better. Drilled can crack and I have even had it myself

not all about cost. rather something that works than something cheap
